Chapter 29:

"How are you feeling?" Declan asked, perched on the edge of my bed, holding out a cup of coffee. I took it and smiled up at him, I took a long gulp before I replied and the scolding liquid burned as it soared down my throat.

"A lot better. I might come downstairs today." I said and he grinned at my achievement. It had been four days since I had even considered walking out of my bedroom door. People had came to see me but I felt ashamed. I felt like they were scared or it was like I was in Hospital, being visited by judging eyes. Even though I knew, they weren't judging, they were themselves. Only Declan was worried and always checked up on me, seeing if I was okay.

"Well, breakfast is in an hour, if you feel like it, come join us." He said, and planted a kiss on my forehead. I watched his back as he left the room and I sat up in bed when the door closed. My eyes closed and my mouth opened as a huge yawn erupted from my body. I reluctantly pulled away my covers and placed my feet on the floor, my toes curling into the shaggy rug. I stood slowly and dragged my body over to the shower. I stripped of my clothes and stepped into it, the steaming water cascading down my skin, making me feel a whole lot better. I washed my hair with an apple shampoo and the grabbed the razor which I hadn't confronted in days.

"Hello old fella. Lets remove the cavewoman side of me." I pressed the razor to my leg and stripped it of all hair. I sighed in contentment. I stepped out, my feet meeting a fuzzy bathmat. I brushed my teeth quickly, using mouthwash and floss. I hastily rushed to my wardrobe, grabbing my ripped jeans and my dream catcher vest. I dried my hair and then straightened my roots, letting the rest fall in small loose waves. I applied face powder, eye liner and mascara and finally turned to look at myself in the mirror. I smiled but then saw my bed staring back in my face.

'Come back to me, Willow.'

'I can't, bed. I need to see people.'

'You're betraying your best friend.'

"Oh piss off." I muttered aloud and a small laugh sounded from the door. I glanced in the direction and Ollie leaned on the doorframe. A small smiled escaped my lips at the sight of my boyfriend. Boyfriend. The word felt foreign but right. His face looked tired but he was cleanly shaven. He wore a pair of ripped jeans also and sported a plain black tee. He wore no shoes.

"That's the first conversation I have heard between a bed and a girl. It seems almost strange." He said with a smirk. I silently cursed myself for not even realising that whole conversation was aloud.

"Yeah says the bad boy wearing bright pink trainer socks." I gestured to his feet, the proud owners of a pair of Walmart pink socks. He feet intertwined and his face blushed.

"Haha very funny, pink is a very masculine colour." He tried and I scoffed.

"Tell that to Action Man."

He shook his head and smiled.

"You're absolutely unbelievable." He looked almost surprised. Almost. He knew me well enough to know that I thought of these types of things.

"Right, common, we are going to a place that I know for some breakfast." He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my room. I followed him, confused.

"I was gonna eat with the rest of them as well, Declan asked me to." I sighed and he pouted.

"But..." He muttered as we reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Declan! Can I take Wils for breakfast at Mickeys?" He shouted, as if to a parent. Declan appeared with Jason on his tail. He had a tea towel thrown over his shoulder. Jason grinned at me and I poked my tongue out.
