Judgments, judgments, that's all I hear
"Look at him", "Look at her,"
"We are all equals," I want to scream but I stay quiet
afraid to interfere
Don't blame yourself
society is to blame
making perfection seem real just for money and fame
You're beautiful in your own way
nothing they say is true
remember that they know, absolutely nothing about you
Don't let them tear you apart
don't let them get to your almost dark heart
Don't let them make you their new victim,
don't listen to their fake words of "wisdom"
Just be yourself
and remember, that not everybody will accept who you are,
and not everybody will love you,
but that doesn't mean you can't shine like a beautiful, midnight star.
