"I s-still d-don't get it.... w-why...  h-he.. *hic*.. broke up... with... me." Jiae slurred as she settled her glass of gin on the table.

It was her seventh shot. The night was still young yet she was getting drunk.

She's not handling this well.

Mingyu shook his head with that thought. He watched the girl intently with amusement and at the same time, pain.

Amusement since he knew this was Jiae's first time to be in a drunk state and thought she was cute with all her blabbering and stuff.

She's always cute. He added a thought.

Pain since he has to witness his girl bestfriend enduring a major breakup from a relationship of two years. She is, after all, his first and last love. Her happiness is his, her tragedy is his.

Too cliche. He grimaced but nevertheless admitted.

"Yoo... hoo..." she waved a hand in front of his face, snapping him out of trance. "Is Kim... Mingyu... still... *hic*... there?? Or d-did... h-he.. *hic*.. leave m-me?"

He chuckled as she pouted.

"Let's get you home, Ji. You're drunk."

"Asdfghjkl..."

"What?"

"I said... it's too... early... to go... home... *hic* Look." She said as she showed him her watch that was upside down.

"You are drunk. Look at your watch. It's upside down, Ji." Mingyu told her.

She frowned as he gently took hold of her wrist to remove her watch and reattached it properly.

While doing so, Jiae unconsciously moved her free hand to his hair.

Mingyu looked up to see a smiling Jiae.

"A girl would be lucky... *hic* to have you as her boyfriend, Min." She said.

Mingyu only chuckled as she continued playing with his hair.

"You know... *hic*.. I still.. *hic* .. don't know... *hic* the girl you like." She put her head on the table and shut her eyes.

"Because that girl is you, Ji." He mumbled.

Jiae was unconscious to the world that made it more difficult for Mingyu to smile. She was hurt, the both of them knew it. He was hurt but only he knows it.

"Yoongi..."

And Mingyu's heart broke.

"Let's get you home, elephant."

He carried her in his arms, careful not to disturb the girl and went out of the bar.

As soon as he settled on the driver's seat, he looked at Jiae who was still sleeping on the passenger's seat and revved the engine to life.

----

"We're here." Mingyu announced even though he knows no one is listening since the only person with him is snoring her heartbreak away.

He smiled at the adorable figure.

It's not everyday that I see you like this, Ji.

He walked around to her side and gently woke her up.

"Jiae, we're here. Wake up, elephant. Let's tuck you in bed alright?"

The girl, woke up, yawned and nodded. Mingyu helped her get out of the car only to puke on the bushes.
