These creatures
So strange,
In large structures they lay.
Some sleep a few hours
Some sleep the the whole day.

They eat many things.
From bugs, to cows, to whales so blue.
They eat all kinds of plants.
Like carrots and beets, zucs and cucs too.

They sleep in piles of textiles
The colors galore.
Some use many
Some few.
Their sleep they do adore.

Instead of licking themselves clean,
They soak in the rain.
And cloak in a bubbly substance before doing it all over again.
The substances are sometimes unhealthy,
But they smell oh so sweet!
Like honeycombs and melon dew,
It's taste must be a treat.

They are very intelligent,
No beast or creature denies.
But even with their great intelligence,
They only watch as the earth dies.

They're also very violent,
A species to be feared.
They turn on each other,
Tricked with charisma,
They are pray waiting to be endeared.

Yes the race is quite a nasty one.
Evil and corrupt.
They fight, and kill, and work, and trick
Until their time is up.

They have no heart,
They have no soul.
Only for their own,
But their are few who have proved otherwise.
Few have kindness to be shown.

Some risk their lives for others each day.
They put it all at stake.
Just to help some others, near dead.
Just to save one drowning in a lake.

Yeah some are bad, some are cruel.
But not all are that bad.
See humans are complicated and diverse.
A human friend, all should have.
