We drove pass various houses and big groups of trees when I spotted it. There it was, just sitting there, like it was an ordinary house. But it wasn't. As soon as Madeline spotted it, she knew there was something wrong with it. My mother and father were trying to in courage me to be more optimistic about it. I tried, I kinda forced myself to feel somewhat happy about it. When we took a turn into the driveway, the happiness vanished. I walked close to my parents as we came closer and closer to the door. When we stepped inside, a shiver went down my spine. It was like one of those houses in the horror movies, creepy and old, but also holds many fascinating secrets. We walked into the kitchen the door creeping behind us and noticing that everything was very old fashioned. There were old chandeliers with cobwebs and black and white photos here and there.  We went into the living room just to find some chairs, a couch and just some old books in a bookcase. I thought to myself that I would check that out later. When we went up the stairs every step would give me a chill. I was in the hallway when I noticed some photos that stood out to me. All of them were the same girl, and she was wearing the same clothes in every photo. When I entered my rooms I instantly got the sensation that someone was watching me. Then all the sudden the lights flickered off and on and I got so scared I ran down the stairs and went straight to my parents. They told me to take a few breathes and suggested that I should go outside and checkout the backyard. I had so many regrets right when I saw what my backyard was.
