Poem #1

You tell yourself the night before
"I can do it, sleeping will help"
Except it doesn't
They are pinning your body to the bed
Your mined aches
Your body shakes
You tell your parents
They don't believe you
"Your not telling the truth"
You insist
You don't know how anyone can fake something you try so hard to hide

Your face is red from the constant rubbing
Your feet drag
Your face forgets to put on a smile
You don't want to put up a fight
Are you being dramatic?
Maybe

You have no determination to carry your own weight
'Cause damn it's dead
Pills can end it
But no matter what it always comes back
Not in this form
No
A more complex 2.0 version
Except you didn't agree to the upgrade
Just wanted to be left alone

One thins for sure
There may be a cure
I just can't tell if it's a sickness, depression, or me

New diagnosis
It's all the same

Go
Leave me here alone
You don't need to see my tears
Don't worry, they're not yours
They are mine
Only because my heart crossed the line
I'm contemplating death
But I'm scared to lose my breath

I'm a walking corpse buried above ground
Somewhere lost, no one to be found
Wandering
Someone please help

Tie my noose, hand it from a tree
Trust me, darling, no one will miss a thing
'Cause I'm just me
Nothing here to see

Don't worry
Even if I go
I'll be there
Catching every tear
Waiting
Waiting, 'till we can walk through the gates together
Hand and hand
Bound by death

If you need me just...
Close your eyes

The more you suffer now
The better off for the rest of us
For the moment you were born
We all began to die

Do they really know?
Do they know I hear them
Do they know I can't escape them
They laugh
They cry
So wide
So fat
So short
So dumb
knock, knock, knock
Hello, I can hear you
I know what you say
I know your my thoughts
But can I turn you off for the day?

My tear stained cheeks tell a story my words will never be able to form
My scars are healed though
... Well the ones you can see
