Well, today is the day, I'm putting my luggage into my brother's car about to head to the airport. Luckily I have gotten my parent's used to their phones enough to know how to call me and facetime me which is such a relief, more for Emmet than for me, but a relief. I hug my family members for the last time for a while, starting with my nieces and nephews to my mum because I knew it would be hard for her to let go of me. Eventually, she lets go and when she does a pull her back for a second to then jump in the car to go for the plane to a new land, a new start.
Soon we pulled up to the airport where Emmet dropped me off, he said he would walk me as far as he was allowed but that would cause him to drag me back home so he just helped me get my luggage out and then he left.
The airport was exciting but scary for me, but I brushed off all worries and went through security, dragging my suitcase to my flight. As I walked up to the flight assistant, in front of the door of the hallway leading to the plane, I spoke up, "This is my first time flying is there anyone that can help guide me to where I'm sitting?" Instead of replying to me, she spoke into her walkie talkie and within five minutes another women in the same uniform walked up to me.
"Hello, I'm Madison, I understand this is your first time flying, which can seem scary, but I assure you it is completely safe." the flight attendant who I learned to be Madison said, which got rid of most of my worry, "Now, may I see your ticket? Ah, economy class seat 18B. Follow me."
After going through multiple classes we made it to my class, where she showed me to my window seat. "Thank you, Madison." instead of speaking a thank you she simply nodded and went on her way. Now, to get through this three hour flight.
I awoke three hours, which felt like forever, to the same flight attendant, Madison, she was shaking my arm telling me how the flight was over and that I could take my carry on and have a lovely time in London. It takes me awhile to recoup myself but after of five minutes I walking I was awake enough to think straight. After getting my other suitcase of the belt, I went down an escalator to see a brown hair, blue-eyed, women holding a sign with my name on it.
"Oh my goodness you've grown to be such a beautiful young women!" the women said to me while holding out her arms to me the best she could as she was still holding the sign in one hand, "By the face you're making you don't remember me, I'm your aunt Chloe." she said hugging me.
"Sorry I didn't recognize you," I said apologetically, "but now that I look closer you and mum have similar eyes and noses."
"You've got your mother's gorgeous blues as well." she said pointing out my eyes, "as well as your fathers raven hair, a beautiful combo really. Some girls would kill to look like you."
"Jeez, you sound like my mother too." I said as she guided me outside the airport to her car.
After a short distance, but long drive to her-our house, we pull up to a little townhouse. I fell in love with the way it looked inside and out, this is where I belonged. I knew Chloe could tell how amazed I was by the building from the moment I saw it but she decided to speak up about it when I, eventually, walked inside.
"It wasn't this amazing at first ya know," she says letting out a breath like she just finished working on it, " I put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this escape from reality."
"It looks well worth it though," I assure her with a tone of admiration, "it's a real piece of art."
