CHAPTER 6

The next day dragonpaw got up hearing her leader outside calling everyone for a clan meeting. "We are here today to call out some news tonight we will have our gathering at moonhigh, and also i wanted to name a new warrior today fernpaw please step forward. Dragonpaw clawed a leaf that was in front of her. Really! That mouse brained fluff ball doesn't deserve to be made warrior! Wingpaw looked up at fernpaw. "Are you kidding me!" a warrior close by with a black and white tom had answered him. "well i dont blame her she has been an apprentice way longer than you, so i guess today was her day. But dont worry you guys will be up there soon as well." they turned back to there leader. "Fernpaw do you promise to fight and protect your clan even at the cost of your life?" Fernpaw gave him a serious look with a smile. Dragonpaw wasn't fooled by her look. "That look on her face is as fake as the flea-bitten fur she has." Fernpaw responded. "yes yes i do!" flamestar meowed back. "Then from this day forward this apprentice will now be known as Fernsong. The warriors and cats of the clan chanted her new name. "Fernsong fernsong fernsong!!" dragonpaw growled as fernsong walked towards her. "Well look whos a warrior while you two are stuck as an apprentice." oh my starclan i just wanna claw her face off! Wingpaw growled at her "so you think we care we want you out of the apprentices den anyway!" "Well i wanted to get out of there myself, the last thing i need from you rats is a problem but now i wont have to deal with you mange pelts anyways because i wont be sharing a den with you losers!" dragonpaw laughed at her. "THANK YOU!" fernsong gave them a confused look. "I dont think that was a complement." wingpaw responded. "but we took it as one." Fernsong hissed and walked into the warriors den. "i cant wait for our warriors ceremony, me and you will become warriors at the same time. What do you think dragonpaw." wingpaw purred, "yea sure and i cant wait for this gathering its gonna be sooo fun!" she bounced with excitement. "yea this is gonna be fun we could finally talk to cats that are apprentices." They walked to the apprentices den but before they could go in dragonpaw had saw a shadow it had these huge wings like hers but bigger but when she turned around it was gone. Wha-what was that it had some huge wings well whatever it was its gone now. She didn't notice that once she walked in the shadow watched her until she disappeared into the brambles.
