Jaden's POV
"Hey man! Wake up!" I hear Lara, my roommate shout as she pounds on my bedroom door. "We have to get to breakfast!" She shouts again.
I groan, "Its seven in the morning!" I try my best to shout back as I'm still opening my eyes. It was the beginning of summer of 2018 and I just moved out of my mom's house. I still live in the area so I can go and see her whenever she needs me.
I hear Lara try to open my locked door, "Come on!" She shouts and I finally sit up.
"Come on", I mock her to myself as I pick out my outfit for the day. I decide with a Mickey Mouse tank top, black jeans, and a black, floral snapback hat. I step out of my room and walk out into the living area where Lara was patiently sitting on the couch. "What shoes are you wearing?" I ask her, we basically have all the same shoes so we don't want to match.
"My white Converse, where should we go today? I think we should head to Starbucks and then to Dunkin'?" She suggests.
"Sounds good, I'll drive."

We had 'History' by One Direction up on full blast in the car as we drove around trying to figure out what else to do for the day.
"We should go to the mall and visit Abby at work, plus I really want Auntie Annes." I suggested as I started to make my way towards the mall.
"Yeah! Didn't she just get a job at the Disney store there?" Lara asks me

"Where should we go first?" I ask her as we walk into the food court and make awkward eye-contact with annoying people from our school.
I laugh as my best friend gives the biggest bitch of all, Emma, dirty looks. "Maybe Target? Just take our usual route?" She half-asks, I nod my head and we head towards Target.
'Damn, I hate all these people.' I think to myself as I gaze around the area and see most of the people from my school. I'm 18 and graduated now so thank god I dont have to go back. School really sucked for me, being the socially awkward anxious person that I am that is. I did cyberschool for two years in High School then went back my senior year.
We walked around the mall popping into a few stores here and there. We finally reached the Disney store. As we entered we listened to an angry mother yell at her child for wanting an Olaf plush doll. We chuckled to ourselves and made our way to the section with all of the Marvel characters to talk to Abby.
"Surprise!" Lara shouts as Abby turns around suddenly. "Ha. Scared you didn't I?"
"Yes, I'm terrified." Abby says sarcasticly bending down a little bit to annoy Lara. "What are you guys doing here? I thought you guys has plans with Amber?"
I can't remember how long I've known Amber. I've basically knew her my whole life, she's in our group of friends but most of the time she doesn't really hang out with us anymore. "No" I say to Abby while I look at the Marvel travel mugs. "She bailed on us"
"We aren't surprised though" Lara says as abby chuckles.
"I'm not either"
We talk for a little while longer until we had to let Abby get back to work. Right before we step away from her the most beautiful girl I've ever layed my eyes on walks over to us and taps Abby on the shoulder.
"Excuse me? Can you maybe help me find the Mickey Mouse plush toys?" The girl asks and Abby turns around to answer her.
"Yeah, they're over near the Frozen characters." Abby answers and I quickly reply before the girl leaves.
"Buying for yourself?" I ask her and she laughs.
"No, my niece actually. Her birthday just passed and I felt like my gift wasn't good enough so I wanted to get her something else." She says and I nod my head.
She tells Abby 'thank you' and goes on her way.
