Picture of mystery guy above, just imagine the eyes with gold specks in themBeep! Beep! Beep!
I groan out loud as I roll over and smack my hand down on the alarm clock. I open my eyes to find myself in an unfamiliar room. Fear and panic start to curse through my body making me go numb as I try to make sense of why I am here. Breathe in. Breathe out. As I calm myself down, flashes of what happened the day before go through my mind. The accident, the drive up here, aunt Jenny,....the angry green eyes. As I let out one last sigh, I wretch the covers off my body and crawl out of bed. Goosebumps run down my arms and legs because of the cool air. Running my hands over my arms I make my way to my duffle bag and pull out a plain, dark blue shirt and a pair of matching ripped up light blue jeans, exposing a slither of my some what tan skin. I top it off with a golden crescent moon necklace and decide to pull my hair back into a long ponytail. Then I apply some mascara and foundation to cover up the growing dark circles under my eyes, which have gotten worse over the past months. I just can't seem to sleep as well as used too, before the night I didn't have nightmares. Pushing that thought aside I take one last glance in my mirror and walk out of the room."Morning" aunt Jenny says with a warming smile as I enter the kitchen.
" Morning." I mumble back, sleep still clear in my voice. I grab a blue class bowl and begin to pour the contents of Honey Bunches of Oats, the bowl making a clinging noise as the oats hit the glass. The noise was interrupted when Jenny added " Are you sure you want to go today? You could stay home, get some un packing down, you know settle in."
I looked at aunt Jenny and saw the concern bleeding out onto her face. My face softened as I replied back " I'm sure, aunt Jenny, I'm fine." I gave her a reassuring smile, " and besides I will fit right in, its about the second week of school and everyone is still trying to find where their classes are." I added. Aunt Jenny sighs ,smiling back at me " Alright, I am trusting you, but this is your last chance ." She remarked with her spoon pointed towards me in a playfully warning way. With that I burst out in giggles and take one last bite of my cereal before placing it in the sink. Kissing aunt Jenny goodbye and grabbing my book bag I walk out the door and wait for the bus to come. About 2 minutes later I spot a familiar long yellow vehicle make its way down my street until it stops right in front of my aunts house. I suck in one deep breathe and with my head held high I climb the set of metal stairs. I don't look down as I feel everyone's eyes on me while I make my way to the back where this is an empty seat. Feeling very proud of myself that I have made it this far, I exhale a long breath that I didn't even know I was holding in. However my moment of peace is destroyed as I feel a pair of eyes on the side of my head. I turn my body to notice that the person who is burning holes into head does indeed have green eyes, not just any green eyes, deep sea green eyes. The same eyes that helped me yesterday, the same angry ones right now that staring back at me.
