Armin X Levi

Thank you bolt

Armin's Pov
I sit on my tan mare and grab the reins tightly. I realise that my hands are shaking. Icy cold rainwater drips down my face and dampens my ash blonde hair. I sigh and try to put on a smile when I see Eren a few yards from me, I kick the side of 'bolt' my horse and she contently pads down the road. I struggle to keep on top of her.
"H-he-hey slow Dow-nnn old gruuurl" I say between getting thrown up in the air. Suddenly bolt decides she's too good for me and bucks me off, I fall to the side and land face first in the wet mud. As I turn around i see black hooves at my feet. I squeeze my eyelids shut and put up my arms in self defence. After about a minute or so I open one eye to see the stallions rider offering a pale hand to me, which I take happily. The person is obviously strong because they pull me onto the horse without struggle.
"Halt!" He commands the horse who immediately stops and bows his head. My jaw drops, how did he do that?
My inner Thys really hurt from straddling bolt and now this other horse. I think I heard the rider call him apples? Apple? Angel? I'm not so sure
I get pulled out off my thoughts when I realise Eren and mikassa are the other way.
"Hey! My friends are that way." I say pointing behind me. The man just shrugs and says
"clean you up." before retreating to his silence.
We arrive outside what looks to be a small house and he jumps off his horse, that's when I realise that I'm taller than him. (By three cm, 😆)
"Captain Levi!" I exclaim, saluting. He just rolls his eyes and ties up his horse.
On the post it has the name 'apples' carved into the wood. He also pulls out the small red fruit and feeds it to the back Colt.

"Inside!" He says, snapping his fingers and pointing to the door. I jog over to the wooden cabin and open the door.
I go to step inside but instead gesture for the captain to walk in. As he passes me, I give him a warm smile and get a grunt return. Charming.

Levi's pov
I shut the door after him and grab his shoulder. Sometimes he is just so plain weak it annoys me. And I end up accidentally... hurting him. Like last time when I gave him... Bolt? I think it's bolt, god why am I so terrible at names?! He turned into a small annoying child that may have pushed a button that didn't want to be pressed and I may have kinda punched him.
IT WASN'T HARD but armin is so weak, how did he even get through training. Oh well.

I notice a whimper of pain behind me and I turn around to investigate. I realise that I'm bruising his arm. I seem to like hurting the runt, so I squeeze harder and a louder whimper escapes his lips. Where we get to the bathroom

"Strip." I command. He looks startled and stares at me
"NOW ARMIN!" I growl, striking the boy across his face. His hands go to the cheek I just hit... oh my god. I just hit him. I feel guilty. Maybe it's a sort of urge to protect him because he's weak.
He stands up and unbuttons his filthy shirt and jacket. All the while sniffling with tears in his eyes. I'm so sorry! I scream in my head, but I know that my expression is blank as usual.
I see his small, scrawny torso. Little runt and groan as I walk out

Armin's pov
I crawl into the bath and scream as the hot water scolds my body.
Levi walks in and I duck under the covers to hide myself
He sets a new pile of clothes on the floor.
"Ummm... Thank you." I whisper.
He sighs. What's wrong with him?
I wash myself off and make sure my blonde hair is clean and lotioned

-time skip-
I walk into the corridor, completely clean and dressed. Where I hear heavy breathing. I open the door and see the corporal on the couch...asleep? I creep over to him and see that he is asleep.
Oh. I lean over him to make sure he was actually sleeping
"Levi?" I whisper. No response. I pull the cloth blanket over him that was on a arm chair next to his sofa. And he curls up in it. He mutters inaudible words before turning around To face the back of the couch. He shivered and his teeth rattled. He was cold? I can't find another blanket or something like one, so I slip under the blanket with him and wrap my small arms around his muscular torso. He mutters something and turns back around, this time he presses his forehead on mine and I quietly gasp. I can feel his hot breath on my face. He wrapped his huge arms around my chest and arms and he squeezes tightly.
"Le..." I start before he opens one eye and screams.
"ARMIN WHAT THE FUCK?" He yells slamming his fist into my face.
"Ahhh!" I squeal before dropping of the couch and bursting into tears. He stops yelling and looks at me. My lip is busted and my nose is broken.
"Armin I'm so-" he starts, but I'm out of the cabin before he can finish.

-time skip-
I run down the muddy road where I fall into Mikasa and Eren.
"Omg armin! What happened?" She squeals whilst hugging me. I cry into her shoulder. I stop crying after a while and cling onto her when she stands up straight and I hold onto her by my arms wrapped around her neck.
"Armin what happened?" She whispers
I hear thundering hooves behind me. Mikasa and Eren salute and I run away.
I hear the hooves right behind me and then I get pounded on.
"ARMIN stop it!"he growls in my ear
"Please don't hurt me..." I whimper
He sits me up crosslegged and wipes my blonde hair out of my blue eyes.
He pulls the neckpiece he has on his collar and presses it against my nose
To mop up the blood.
"If your nose is broken I need to snap it back in place." He explains
I whimper and sit uncomfortably on the pavement.
" on three... one- *snap*" he lies
"Aggghhhh!! what happened to two and three?" I scream in pain
"Err- two,three" he says with what looks to be a slight smirk
I whimper for a while after.

"Armin, I'm so sorry. I overreacted."
He leans forward and embraces me.
"Armin, starting from tomorrow I'm gonna train you." He mutters into my hair. I nod in understanding. And he smiles
"Call me Levi, no salute needed..."
