From foe to friend

"Nicki wake up you're going to be late for school!" Suddenly I woke with a thud; I had hit my head on the top panel on my bed. "Arhhhh, what a great way to start a morning" I had picked myself up once again and dragged myself to the shower. As I was doing my make-up in the mirror I could see a girl with hair that reached to her back and it was a dark brown golden colour in it. She had also had soft pale skin and perfect teeth. After I had done my make-up I didn't have much time to do my hair so I had just put it in a messy bun, got dressed and left for school.

Rideliegh high school, wow... this place was fooling everyone with its tip top shape of a school and kids fought to be on the honour roll, but I was different and I was going get out of Rideliegh. My dream was to get out off here and just keep going as far as I could, I didn't want to stay for no one I didn't quite understand why people actually stayed in Rideliegh, this town was explained as a "perfect paradise" but to me it was just a tourist attraction filled with joyful people, now wait I am not a depressing person I just don't understand how people can be so happy all the time, like why can't people just be normal, have emotions and being angry once in a while? But I don't care about that really; I just want to get out.

I had then see one of my normal but yet still cheerful friends Angela. " Heey Nicki, how did you sleep?" I chose to ignore her question as something had caught my eye. A boy around 6 ft had stepped out of a car with amazing brown hair and he was well beyond fit, a football jock maybe? I had thought to myself. "NICKI!, hello anyone there?" Angela had said whilst waving and snapping her fingers in front of my face. "Oh sorry did you say something?" "Forget it haha, you looking at the new exchange student from Australia" What! Australia I would kill to leave in such a free open amazing country why would he dare to come to Rideliegh? Hmmm I wonder why he would come to a place as plump as Rideliegh...

The next day I was walking to my trig class when I noticed the exchange student, hmm I wonder what his name is I thought to myself. Then as I started to stray off into thought he walked up to me. "Nicki right?, im brendon, are you in my trig class?" I quickly shock myself to wake up, "uhmm yeah im nicki but how did..." just before I could finish he interrupted me "I have seen you around school and heard a few things about you, you're a pretty bright girl"

"thanks, I guess" I didn't know where this was leading so I walked over to my assigned seat and sat down, soon after I had I noticed him walk over to me. "this is my seat, I guess we will be spending a lot of time together" oh brother, Rolling my eyes I moved over this is going to be a long summer.

I had seen Brendon around school and noticed he was getting popular. I was woundering more why he was at the school then to what he was doing here, maybe he was here for some family summer vaccaion trip? Well while I was woundering more and more about Brandon my school work was becoming more and more unsatisfied work that I needed to do, so I put Brandon off my mind for a moment and decided to fall straight into school work at study hall for the rest of the day.
