(Vix's POV)
Everyone was reading books or chatting with their friends about the latest gossip when suddenly the classroom fell silent to the sound of cars and bikes riding out of the city."That's it." An aquintance of mine, Lilyanne, pointed out as the sounds of motors and tires streaked out of hearing. I wasn't one for calling others friends. "Ok children get ready..." I can hear the teacher murmur under her breathe. I can't help but think, Did they get trained for this?! Today is the day the annual purge takes place and me and 3 others have a little plan, but now its different...
They changed the laws of the purge!!!!
So instead of just over night (plz tell me if different!!!) the president changed it to approximately 72 hours AND now it's worldwide!!!!!! Can't say this is the safest neighborhood, I mean this place is full of criminals and even us 14-15 year olds know how to kill. Only us 4 were trained like this because I guess.... you could say.... we are part of the Lonely Lies Club, and all of us had to learn to kill, to protect each other, to live. This also means we are a group of children who have been abandoned by our own parents.
These other kids are named Vicky, Alexa, Maxy(my brother, also short for Maxwell), and me, Vix. We all have the same homeroom.The teacher had taught us, that incase of emergencies go to the corners of the room. This was too easy! But the real reason we are taking part of this is really because, last purge, which was regular and we didn't take part of, Vicky's twin sis, Massie, was killed right before the sirens wailed for the killers to end. Now this time we are taking the title of the killers, the ones who need revenge...
