Friends, Foes, and a Fight

Today was the day of the Purple Moon. They happen every year but it's the first one Marionette has ever seen. And tonight the school was having a dance. It was only 17 minutes until it started but an hour until the Purple Moon showed itself. She was already in the car and on her way to the dance. Finally the car stopped. As she stepped out of the car, a chill went all around her. She shivered. "Jesus. I should've brought a coat." She said as the car pulled away. She slowly walked over to the school, hoping some of her friends were there. Suddenly, she was tackled to the ground. "Marionette!! I'm so glad you made it!!" She heard a girl yell. "Ow! Come on, Ella. We're on concrete." Marionette said, with a little anger in her tone. "Oh, I'm sorry!" Ella said as she got off and helped Marionette off the ground. "Yo Puppet Strings!" Someone shouted. Marionette turned her head to see a girl in a backwards baseball cap, jeans, and a T-shirt walking over. "Finally got here, huh? Took ya long enough." She said with a slight grin. "And a nice 'fuck you' to you too, Harley." Marionette said, smiling. "Yeah yeah. Come on, let's go inside. It's fucking freezing out here." Harley said as she walked into the school with Ella and Marionette following. Just as Marionette walked in, she was hit with a cup of juice, getting soaked in the process. "Haha! Nice one, Barry!" A guy said, as he gave a high five to another guy. Probably the Barry kid. "That's how it's done!" Barry yelled and laughed. "Hey! Don't pick on her!" Harley yelled. "Yeah! Go jerk off or something!" Ella added. "Oooh, we got some bitches up in here." One guy said. "You wanna go, pussies?" Another asked. "Yeah," Harley said as she pushed him, "let's go right now." Then, Barry punched Marionette, hard. "FIGHT!!!" Some kid yelled. All hell broke loose. Kids were punching and kicking each other. Then, the principal burst through the doors. 'Fuck.'
