Part 13: Big Talk

Trey POV
So I walked into school with Erika and Joseline. They were on the lookout for Nasir. I beg them not to do anything because I don't feel like dealing with any drama.
  The day go by fast and I haven't seen Nasr at all today. I guess he know he fucked up. But anyway before I start crying again I woke up to a good morning text from Taylor. I texted him to pick me up and this nigga was on time outside waiting. Of course I told Erika and Joseline and they went crazy. Them being them said they are going to follow us so he wouldn't try and kidnap me or anything.
I see Taylor in his orange Range Rover. I walked over to his car and I peeped to my left Nasir staring dead at him. I turned and his eyes had nothing but hurt in them. He turned and got in his car and pulled off, he made skid marks on the pavement.
I feel so bad now but I still got in the car with Taylor. I turned to him and good god he was fine. I mean the last time I saw him he didn't look no where near this good. He had a thick full beard, thick full lips, basically a lightskin hunk.
Taylor- oh my you look gorgeous
Me- thank you
Taylor- I know I have a lot to make up for but I want to wait till get to the park
Me- ok
The 20 minute drive to the park was filled with odd silence and r&b music playing. We eventually got to the park and it was pretty. It had ponds everywhere and Stoney paths. We got out and I got a text from Erika saying that they in the parking lot watching us. I quickly texted back 'ok'. I put my phone in my back pocket and started walking with Taylor by my side.
Me- so what have you been up to lately
Taylor- oh I've been great I have a good paying job as a police officer for the state, I own part of the Starbucks inside the mall, I've completed rehab and I've been sober for 3 years going on four in a month
Me- oh wow you've been so successful for such a young person
Taylor- well after THAT night I've realized that this isn't the life o want to pursue and I changed my life around got my record cleared and started over
Me- oh wow can I ask you something
Taylor- of course
Me- why me
Taylor- well when I started taking drugs I lost my mind and I wasn't thinking at all and when I got turned on I would just react not think about you I'm truly sorry for everything
Me- I've always had feelings for you but I just broke up with my boyfriend and I don't think this is what I need right now can we be friends
Taylor- you mean Nasir?
Me- yeah you know him
Taylor- yeah we used to make moves back when
Me- oh yeah well we broke up
Taylor- may I ask why
Me- he cheated(a tear rolls down my cheek)
Taylor- oh Trey you must really love him you need to get back together with him
Me- I want to but I can't trust him
Taylor-I know you've been hurt so many times and I'm mostly to blame but if you give one more chance I will show you how good you need to be treated
Me- I think I might but I'll think about it first
Taylor- wanna go get something to eat
Me- sure
We walk over to a food cart and I order a fruit platter filled with mostly pineapples and a cheesesteak while Taylor ordered a cheeseburger with fries. We walked over to a small table and ate our food while we laughed at everything. An hour or so I looked at my phone and saw it was 7:34 and Love and hip hop Atlanta was coming on at 8:00.
  Me and Taylor got up and threw our food away and he drove me home as Erika and Joseline went their separate way. I texted them and thanked them both for their thoughtfulness and I would tell them what happened tomorrow. As I send the text we pulled up to my house. I told him my address because I actually kinda trust him. Lol. Before I got out he said "we should hang out some other time". I replied with "yeah we should". As I get I seat back in the car and give him a peck on his cheek. He had a fool's grin on his face. I got out the car and started walking to my front door and I felt him staring at my ass. I turned around and sure enough he was staring. I shook my head and unlocked my door and went straight to my room. I turned my tv on, took off my shoes and socks. Just in time for LHHA to come on. I really love Joseline and was very disappointed to see she wasn't even in the episode. I like D Smith and Karlie and Tommie. I live for them. After the show ended I uploaded some videos on sc and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and pee. After I got done I crawled into my bed and put my phone on the charger and in 2 minutes I was knocked out cold. My phone vibrated and lit up and woke up to see who or what it was and it was Taylor telling me goodnight and one from Nasir saying we need to talk. I replied to Talyor saying 'gn🤓' and to Nasir's 'tmr before classes start'. I put my phone back done and went back to sleep. I hope they don't make me have to force to pick a person. Because I can possibly see a future with Taylor but I still deeply love Nasir but he hurt me too many times.
