So it Begins

I've always thought it to be kind of odd, how the pristine white floors stretch on and on, seemingly to no end. My life thus far has been a rush, a fast-paced race of which I have been determined to win. But so far, I've been falling behind. When you're alone, you really think about who you are and what constitutes that. It's kind of complicated, but it makes since when you have hours on end to ponder it.

For example: I've come across one other creature, as I'm not sure whether or not to call it a wolf. Speaking loosely, it looks enough like me. It's pelt is fluffy, especially around it's neck. Except, the poor thing's neck stretched into two heads, both perfectly intact. From what I've gathered, one half controls that half's legs, so on and so forth. It had multiple caudal, that being only being two, and a severely twisted carpal. As well as that, the thing lacked claws, but its teeth were longer and sharper than normal. On both sides.

Upon encountering it, I've begun to wonder what this place really is. Sure, it's, quote unquote, pleasant, but just seeing that and knowing about my own deformity, whatever here is seems quite off.

I mean, come on, who normally sees two-headed wolves and metal-legged coyotes?
