Chapter 1|The birth

January 15 2003- Jenalee's POV

The nurse brought Abbi over to me about 10 minutes after I had brought her to the world. Aww, she was so cute. Besides the fact that she was crying like crazy, she was adorable. Luke would have loved her. he had been looking forward to this day since we found out it was girl. i remember him holding my hand during the ultrasound. when the nurse told us it was a girl he let go of my hand and called his mom. he was so excited. he would have made a great father. The nurse walked over to me and handed her to me. I fell in love. She was mine. I was going to take care of her.

One week later I got to take her home. She had been born early so she had to stay a little longer. We walked in and into the nursery and I layed her down. Above her crib was a pregnancy picture of me and Luke. It was hard not having him here. But I know he's looking down on us.

1 and 1/2 years later

I woke up to Abbi crying. Ugh she must need a diaper change. I went to the bathroom to get a clean one and we had only one left. I went and changed Abbi into to the one remaining diaper and got her dressed. I put her in her car seat and we drove off to target. When we got there we parked and I pulled her out of her car seat.

We walked into target and headed towards the baby section. but like any woman, especially on her period the candy section was calling for me. We grabbed some pampers and a big bag of the mini hershey bars and headed to the front. I payed the self checkout $30.00 and grabbed my change.

While I driving out of the parking lot with Abbi in the back, a car came from around the corner and was headed right for the front of the car. My head hit the steering wheel and my vision went black.

No Ones POV

Abbi woke up in a crib. A lady with long brown hair and blue yes came running in.

"she's awake!' yells the middle aged woman. she picks Abbi up and sits down in a rocking chair next to the crib with rabbi in her arms.

"it'll all be ok." she says as she rocks Abbi back and fourth in her arms. Abby fell back asleep and the woman put her back in her crib and walked out.
