New owner

The sun had already risen and the sunlight fell on Taehyung's face as he opened his eyes. He turned his face against the light because he wanted to sleep a bit more but as soon as he closed his eyes again, the alarm clock started ringing. As his hands reached the snozzer to stop it from ringing, he rose from his bed out of a sudden.It was a special day. Usually, he would whine about going to the office and would often come late (thanks to his boss who never scolded him for slacking off), but he made sure that he would arrive early today for his best friend Jimin. As he was thinking about what shirt to wear for the special occasion he received a call from Jimin himself.

"Chimchim!!" He greeted cheerfully.

"Taehyung, I can't think well. I am going to cry oh my god." He heard Jimin's nervous voice from the other end.

Today, Yoongi was going to ask Jimin to marry him. It was no surprise because Jimin found out about the ring in Yoongi's closet. But since he didnt want Yoongi to feel like his plans were ruined he acted like he didnt know about the ring at all, although he was dying from the inside. Through Taehyung's help he came to know that yoongi will be proposing to him on this date.

"It's okay Chimchim. Don't get too nervous, he will know you already knew about this and would blame me for telling you."

"Dude you are scared about that? I am scared because what if he doesn't propose to me and thinks it is a bad idea. Or worse, maybe that ring isn't for me." He gave a dramatic sigh.

"He literally is head over heals for you and you are doubting his proposal. Of course he is going to ask you to marry him today."

Jimin and Yoongi met in the sophomore year of college. Courtesy to Taehyung, who was already friends with Yoongi, Jimin became close to him.

"If you are saying that then I will believe you. But I don't feel like I am looking good. I don't know something is missing."

"Jimin for the last time, chill! Just look how you look in office everyday. He has seen you in your best and worst attire and he still wants to marry you so stop doubting on yourself."

"Anyway, when will you reach the office?" Jimin asked ignoring his motivational speech.

"10 minutes or less haha."

"Okay then, meet you in office. Bye"

Taehyung decided to wear the off-white shirt since he didn't want people to notice him over Jimin and Yoongi since it was not his day.

"Kim Taehyung. When are you going to find yourself a husband?", he thought to himself. He made his way to the bathroom and took a quick shower.

"Oh fuck I forgot to feed Minah." He gasped loudly while showering. Minah was his beloved fish which had been with his family since he was a little kid.

He wrapped himself in the towel as he stepped outside the bathroom. He had forgot to feed his goldfish thrice in this week.

"Minah baby. Sorry, oppa forgot to feed you." He observed Minah looking angrily at him as he felt guilty for not being a good pet owner.

"Minah?" He heard a man's voice coming from his house.

"Who..who is it?" He looked around to see if he heard a voice or not.

"Behind you." He heard the voice again.

For a split second Taehyung thought he was hallucinating but as he turned around he saw a young (handsome?) looking man staring blankly into his eyes.

"Who are you?" He asked the stranger. The stranger made an uncomfortable face when he asked that and looked away. It was rather strange to see someone getting weirded out by such a basic question.
