Raindrop
On the pavement
A summer like fragrance
Engulfing our bodies
Hugging us tight
Raindrops
On our palms
Telling us it's alright
Enveloping our hearts
Holding us closer
Raindrops
Dark and mysterious
Splashing life
Onto lifeless bodies
Bringing new life
To come forth from death
Raindrops
Screaming violent words
From up above the clouds
Telling us to let it all out
The anger the pain
The harsh words and agony
Raindrops
Soft and sweet
Placing kisses on the lips
Of grinning teeth
And keeping life sustained
So there will be no more pain
No more agony and harsh words
Raindrops.
