"So you're telling me that he takes candy corn as a payment? No money?" Nervous Broad exclaimed, "That's incredible! Maybe I should have him find out where my shoes keeping disappearing to..." Hysterical Dame giggled, "Yes, he sure was something, and so charming!" Hysterical Dame had a dreamy look in her eyes as the conversion about P.S. kept going. He was such a nice guy, a bit of a dimwit, but nice. After all, he did solve her case and didn't accept money, there was no better deal! But the candy corn thing was strange...
"N.B., how do you suppose he does it?" Hysterical Dame asked, "How do you think he manages to solve cases and mysteries? He seemed so foolish yet he was hard boiled and managed to figure it all out." Nervous Broad sipped her tea, "He's a detective darling." She smiled, "Its in his blood." Hysterical Dame wasn't convinced. It just wasn't possible. Sure, she was very grateful indeed on how Problem Sleuth managed to solve her case, but she didn't think ANY detective could be so hard boiled yet so goofy at the same time.
"Perhaps its just him being a man. I never understood them myself actually..." Nervous Broad said with a smile. "Not all fellows are like that." Hysterical Dame smiled, "He's only the first man I met who's like that."
"Well, foolish or not he solved your case." Nervous Brad said, "And that is one thing to be very thankful for." Hysterical Dame nodded in agreement. It was a shame Li'l A.D. couldn't be there. She would make the conversation much more interesting. Perhaps later she'd have to invite her over for dinner to tell her about the detective she had hired. Surely Li'l A.D. would have a mouthful to say about the matter.
Hysterical Dame got up and dialed the number. She couldn't wait any longer, she had to tell her best friend about Problem Sleuth and his ways. If she didn't then oh well the story goes on like it should.
