Freedom. There is no other way to describe the escape from the madness that is high school. Feeling the wind through your hair as you walk away from the prison, breathing fresh air. It's the most relaxing thing to do. I had reached the park, I was halfway home. A movement in the corner of my eye caught my attention. It was the butterfly. It was such a deep red that it seemed to be bleeding. It was truly hypnotic. My body seemed drawn to the power radiating from each flutter of it's wings and I began to follow it. I started running after it, my focus on the butterfly. It stopped abruptly and landed on a flower so dark it looked black. I reached out my hand and I swear it looked at me. Slowly it fluttered onto my finger and I let out a small giggle. I felt a hand cup my shoulder. I froze instantly. The butterfly slowly drifted towards the person behind me and when I spun around it was on his hand. It was him. I swear. His golden hair, gorgeous eyes and amazing looks. He simply smiled when I drew in a sharp breath. It was breathtaking. "Hi," his voice like silk, "you dropped this." He held out a notebook. I realised it was mine. I blushed and took it. "Thanks, I haven't been too aware today." stop blushing! Come on Ella! He laughed, it was incredible. "Don't worry, we all have our days." "Yeah, thank you umm...." "Gabriel." He blushed! "Thank you Gabriel, I'm Ella by the way." He gave a prizewinning smile, "It's great to meet you Ella, I hope I can see you again." And with that, he left. I was stunned.
