I finally got home and plugged in my earphones. I was listening to Digital by Justin Bieber. I love that song. I'm glad I don't have to see that Justin kid for a couple days. School started on a Friday so I yave the weekend before I have to go back to that hell hole....I mean school....no I mean hell hole. My phone lit up and I had a text from Brena. "You really don't like him?" As I read the message I rolled my eyes. Was it such a big deal? He came off as a jerk. So I went with it. I ignored Brena. Then I got another text. It was from Maree. "Want to go to the mall tonight?" She texted. "Yeah sure! When will you be here?" I replied. "In like 5 minutes" she texted. I agreed and put on my gray and purple high tops with jeans and a tee shirt. I grabbed my phone and stuffed it in my back pocket. I went outside and got in the car. We drove there and wheb we got there me and Maree went off on our own. "So how was your first day of school?" Maree asked in her normal perky high voice. God Im so jealous of her. She was the perfect skinny, not too thin. She had a lot of freckles and bright blue eyes. She had straight brown hair that hung a little past her shoulders. She didn't wear makeup. She was confident without it. Every once in a while she put on mascara. But rarely. I always put it on. I NEEDED it. Badly. She was always in fashion. Hollister, Abercrombie, and other big stores like that. "Good I guess, how about you" I asked. "I guess it was okay, except for this annoying kid Levine. But I have Sarah from last year. So that's cool" She said running her fingers through hair straightening it out. "Tell me about annoying kids, some kid who is 16 in my class and is soo conceited. Like he's a year older then everyone else. Thats weird." I said. "Maybe he failed?" She said trying to make a explanation as she searched through clothes at Hollister. "He said he didn't" I said already thinking of that. "Oh. He has to ecplain himself that makes no sense why he's 16 in tge 9th grade" she said. "I know! So how is that Levine kid annoying?" I replied. "He's just annoying. He trys too hard to be cool, but nobody really likes him because he's so gosh darn annoying" she said picking up white shorts. I laughed at her. My phone buzzed in my pocket. Message from Brena. "DONT IGNORE ME MAC" It read. I giggled and texted back "I'm busy I have to go!" I replied and put my phone away. Me and Maree just shopped the rest of the time. When I got dropped off I looked at my phone. 11:57pm it read before I unlocked it. Kaelynne and Eda, my sisters, were also on their phones. I went upstairs and went to sleep.

**Two Days Later**

"Mac! Kaelynne! Get up and get ready!" My mom said barging in me and Kaelynne's room and flicking on the lights. I groaned and sat up. I rubbed my eyes and looked for clothes. I picked black leggings and a Hollister green shirt. I put on my sneakers and went to my dresser and put on my mascara until my eyelashes were perfect. I put on gloss and went downstairs. I sat on my phone until everyone was ready. Then it was time to go to that shit box.
