Night was silent in the city and whoever bothers that silence was hated. The moon glimmered but no one saw it as beautiful.

The moon controlled the waves at night. But not this one, as it was waving strongly... or was the moon angry? Soft clashes of the ocean were heard, and the barrier between the city and the ocean was about to break down. It was bad news for the citizens, for once the ocean reaches the roof of the barrier, flood will splash into the city, destroying all houses and farms. Worst than that, the leaders of the city have no plans. They weren't prepared for this occasion, and they have no idea how the ocean was towering over them right now.

Beside the barrier was an old farm that has been built back when there was still no barrier to seal the ocean. Radishes, carrots, turnips and any vegetable you think of, it was there. Beside the farm was the city, the city that was soon to be erased from the map of Earth. The city has no name but was called Citocea by the citizens.

The moon cast a moonlight at the fountain of the city. The fountaiun shone and glimmered like the moon. The fountain held the strongest continent of Earth, Moonpebble. Every midnight, when the moon is full, the moon would cast a moonlight on the fountain to prevent it from breaking. It was the reason why Citocea was the most important  city of Earth.

Water droplets were formed and heard from the towering barrier to the farmhouses, but it wasn't loud enough to warn or wake up the farmers. The soil was darker, already flooded by water. Soon, the water ruled out the farm.

The barrier's roof cracked. It was time to run away.

The crack-line continued to run from the roof. It was as fast as a bullet. It split the barrier into two walls already.

And that was it.

The ocean burst into the farm and continued its way to  Citocea. The farmhouses were overcame by the ocean and now, it's laid down. Farmers quickly swam out of their houses, though it was hard for them since there was a contradicting force made by the ocean, stopping them from raising their heads and gathering air. The farms' vegetables joined the ocean.

The fountain broke into little glass pieces and the fountain's water joined the ocean as well.

Now, Citocea was the ocean's target. The buildings were broken and everything sank deep into the ocean.  The barrier, once looked as strong and a protector, has failed the citizens as it sank together with the city.

Buried by the hands of the ocean, Citocea left no trace.

The ocean has made Citocea nothing more than a forgotten land. Should they be remembered, will see...
