"That's good! I'll doll you up in no time! Kukunin ko lang 'yong gamit ko sa sasakyan." Tinapik ni Ingrid ng ilang beses ang braso ko. "Finally!" Hirit pa niya bago umalis. I sighed. I made my way to my room.

I saw Celeste pout. "Pero Mom! Mas ship ko kayo ni Daddy--tito Kaspar!" She whined. Napakunot naman ang noo ko.

"Ship?" I asked, confused.

"It's where you pair someone with the other." She explained. "Bagay kayo ni tito Kaspar! You can't date anyone else!" And she was about to throw a fit. Pinigilan ko siya at pinanlakihan ng mata. I really do hate it when she does things like that. She understood and went back to the living room instead.

Umiling nalang ako. I could cancel our so-called date but consequences are, Lucian won't stop pestering me. He might even do worse than the deliveries he sent just a while ago.

"You got a date? With a Casamayor?" Marquis asked hysterically. Parang hindi makapaniwala sa ginawa ko. "Venus, do you realize what you're doing?"

I rolled my eyes. "Oh I do. It's stupid." I spat. "I don't get it why everybody is so fussed up in this date. We just go out and eat at a restaurant or what. We won't do smooching because I'll kill him first before he does."

Inakbayan niya ako. "E kasi pinsan, ngayon lang kita nakitang luma-love life pagkatapos ng Kaspar Benedicto mo." Sabi niya. "Diba siya 'yong live-in partner mo? Ama-amahan ni Celeste?"

Sinapak ko siya sa ulo. "Why did you research about me?"

"I had to!" Sabi niya. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. "Trabaho ko 'yon. Nasanay ko na."

I sighed. "Don't ever do that again Mark. Makakatikim ka na sa'kin." I warned. Tumango naman na parang tuta.

"I'm back!" Sigaw ni Ingrid na ngayo'y may dala nang kit, hair straighteners, curlers, at iba pa'ng hindi ko alam. I trust Ingrid with my hair pero parang naghihinayang na ako. This is... unnatural. Madali lang namang matapos ang lahat nang 'to. "'Lika na!"

She dragged me by my arm and lead me to my bedroom. Umupo ako sa kama habang tinitingnan ko siyang s-in-et up ang mga gamit niya. Nang matapos ay humarap siya kaagad sa'kin. She looked at me as if I have grown another head--but in a more exciting way. Para siyang maraming itatanong sa'kin but don't know where to start. She cupped her hands together and heaved a satisfying sigh. "So, saan kayo?" Tanong niya habang humagikhik.

I shrugged. "I don't know. He'll text me the details."

"Susunduin ka niya?"

"Nope. I'll drive my way there as soon as I'm finished"

Nanlaki ang mga mata niya. "Bakit? That's so ungentlemanly of him."

I smirked. "Don't be mad at him. I told him to."

Napakamot siya sa ulo. "Bakit?"

"Simply because I have car and I can drive myself there," giit ko. "It's a thank you date, Ingrid. It's not what you think it is."

"A-Ah e, sorry. Sobrang na-overwhelm lang. Ngayon ko lang kasi nadatnan si kuya na ganito. I'm just excited about it, you know?" She said. "Sigurado akong pinaghandaan niya 'to kaya kailangan mo rin paghandaan ito Venus! Though it's a friendly date but I know it took a lot gut and willpower to ask you out. You see, no one never interest him."

Diyan na naman tayo sa interest. It made my heart pound fast for a second. Hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit ganito ang nararamdaman ko.

Ingrid clapped her hands. "Let's start! Uunahin natin ang susuotin mo. Lucian is a leg person, maybe you can show some legs?" She asked. My eyes immediately darted at her, asking if she was crazy. Why would I do that with Lucian? "So... okay! Sure akong dadalhin ka niya sa isang ka-rival niya na restaurant. Alam ko rin na sa bagong French restaurant ka niya dadalhin--if not, I know it's a lot fancy."
