"Cerise, wake up. Dad just left, we're safe.", Ramona kicks you gently. Groaning, you get up and go over to your closet. "Five minutes!", she calls, walking out.
You arrive at school and run straight towards Rosy. You hug. "I slept roughly today." ,you say as you take out a pack of Gummy Bears. She strokes your back. "It's okay. At least it's the last day of Term." You hand her the packet and she takes out a red one. "Hey, they're my favourite!", you shove her and she smirks. "Mine too, y'know." You laugh and walk to class.
*Bzzt* You pick up your phone.
"Can I come to your's after? ~R"
You text her back.
"Sure, be careful about dad. ~C"
A reply comes back immediately.
"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. ~R"
You lower yourself onto the bench as Mr. Jack B. Nimble starts his lesson. "Miss Hood, just in time for your poem.", the teacher states. You flush a dark crimson. "Uh-Uhm..."
