(Kayla's P.O.V)
I woke up from a loud knock on my front door.It was still dark outside and the sky was a mix of Black and Purple.I got out of my comfy bed and put on my blue monster slippers and went down the creaky stairs.I opened my front door and a cold mist came rushing threw , and standing their was a little girl with long red hair and a yellow and green dress . I stood there wondering were her parents were and where she had come from, because there wasn't very many people living around here. I invited her inside and made her a cup of hot chocolate with whip cream and we sat on my black leather couch. I asked her where her parents were but she didn't reply like she was paralyzed in fear.I offered her some food but she still don't reply and I stared to get worried.Finally after several times of trying to communicate she mutter some words "Mom.....Dad...gu...gu" then she started balling her eyes out.
I tried to comfort her but she kept refusing.-Time Skip-An hour has past and the little girl had stopped crying.I asked for her name and she lifted her tiny head and spoke softly "Meadow". I told her if her house was close by but she didn't answer.I found a brown fluffy blanket behind the couch and gave in to her and told her she could stay until her parents came back.Meadow had very light coloured skin , her eyes were bright blue and very big. I turned over to the tv and grabbed the remote and turned it onto a kids Chanel.-TimeSkip- About 2 o'clock in the afternoon I went to my room and got dressed then when back downstairs and made some extremely cheesy grilled cheese for big me and Meadow.I didn't want her to cry again so I didn't talk about her parents for the rest of the day. She really enjoyed the food but I couldn't get a little smile on her face, just then I remembered that I kept some old kids toys from when I was little and I got them from a box in the spare bedroom.She ran over with the blanket and we both straws playing now with little ponies and dolls and she finally smiled . It was time for dinner and I made lasagna. After dinner I gave Meadow some chocolate ice cream and I made her up a bed in the spare room so she could rest.
