I went to the police station this morning to see if they could tell me anything about the house. All they would tell me is that knew nothing about the house. I could tell they were lying. Father always said that you could never trust the police, though I always assumed that he was just over-reacting. As I walked away, I could hear them laughing and talking about me like I was some delirious teen.
Talking to them was a waste of time. I know that they are hiding something. My next stop was the local library. Hopefully I will find some answers. The noises from the house played over and over again in my head. All of a sudden I get the strange feeling that somebody is watching me. I know this feeling all to well. I arrive at the library and the feeling is still there. When will this end?
The archives have nothing useful. The only thing there is theories about the house. They say that who ever lives there can hear the screams and cries of a mother who was killed by a serial killer, and that he still occupies the house, hiding in the basement. Could they be true? Can I trust these? They must be myths. There is no way he could still live there, not without anybody seeing him. Or could he?
