Dovebreeze turned away, leaving the soaked cat. She just had a fight with Sparrow, and she stormed away. She went for a walk, the moon rising. She found a rock pile where she could watch the river. She sat down, and began to relax. After awhile, the bushes rustled. She thought it was Sparrow, but it was a fox!
She ducked down lower, hoping the fox wouldn't see her. Sadly, it got her scent and charged, its jaws snapping at her heels. She sprang away, and ran. The fox caught her by a wing, and she dangled from its mouth helplessly. It set her down and continued to hunt. She slunk away slowly and ran, but she tripped and limped to camp.
