Lord Ignacia rushed to his home from the capital city after he heard what happened to his daughter, but it took a day for him to arrive at his hometown. When he was arrived the mansion was in a mess.

"Thank God you are here, my Lord." One of his maids greeted him. Her face was in a great relieve after she saw him.

"Lady Ignacia is in her room now. She never gets out and also hasn't eaten since the party was over. Please, my Lord, talk to her."

Hayden Ignacia ran immediately after he heard the news. When he reached his room, he found out that his wife was sitting, leaning her back to her high chair. Her eyes seemed to be cloudy. She was staring at the blue sky, but it looked like she was thinking about something else.

"Lorraine." He said softly. "Are you alright?"

Lorraine Ignacia kept staring the sky without showing any emotion, without even glanced to her husband. She only nodded.

"Why are you not eating?"

"I'm not hungry." She mumbled. Her eyes still gazing to the outside of the window.

Hayden asked her once again. Trying to keep his tone remains soft. "Sweetheart, what happened that night?"

"Sera didn't have magic." She mumbled again.

"I know it but what happened afterwards?"

"Nothing happened."

He sighed. "Then where is our daughter?"

Lorraine shook her head and avoided any eye contact with her husband.

"How could you don't know? You must know where she is."

"I said I don't know!" She shouted this time. Her tears began to stream down to her beautiful face.

Hayden gasped, didn't expect that his wife would burst into anger. "O-okay, Lorraine. Calm down."

"I don't know where is she." She said it repeatedly as she cried on her husband shoulder. Hayden kept hug her until she was passed out, probably because she had not eaten properly since yesterday, but she was still mumbled.

"Seraphine..."

Hayden frowned when he looked his wife was under take care of her maid. He regretted his choice for not coming home to celebrate his daughter awakening day.

If only I was there, maybe such these horrible things will never happen.

He decided to leave Lorraine and find Marc. The butler of this mansion.

"Marc? Come here!" He shouted after he arrived at the main hall.

A thin man ran in a hurry, approached him from the left corridor. His eyes filled with fears, but Hayden didn't know why. There were also black circles under his wide eyes, made him looked like a living corpse.

"Y-ye-yes, m-my Lord."

Hayden couldn't hide his curious anymore after his butler talked with his tremble voice because it wasn't usual for him to talk like that.

"Where is my daughter?"

"I'm sorry, sir." He said. He even bowed now.

"Get up. Why are you apologizing? I ask you where is Seraphine?"

Marc answered it with his head still facing the ground. "She is no longer here, my Lord. I'm so sorry."

"Where is she then?" Hayden couldn't hide his impatience again now.

"I don't know."

"How could you don't know? Answer me!" His anger started to raise now.

"I tell you the truth, my Lord. I don't know where is she now. I couldn't find her."
