Leon's P.O.V.

We were finally free. I saved Ashley and now we're heading home. We were riding on a jet ski, escaping this entire unidentified place in Spain.
If only Luis, Krauser, and Mike were alive, I thought. Those three didn't deserve to die like that. Even though Krauser had turned into an asshole. He was manipulated, though. Manipulated into thinking that Saddler ever gave a damn about him. Saddler deserved to rot in Hell after what he did to my three friends.
I felt Ashley's slim arms squeeze around my waist in joy. "It's finally over." She spoke, the tone of her voice full of relief.
I glanced over at her and smiled. "Yeah."
She smiled back, her honey brown orbs sparkling from the sunlight."So...I was thinking...when you take me back, how about we do some, um, overtime?"
As flattered as I was, I couldn't do that. She was the Presidents Daughter. And I was just the guy sent to rescue her. I was no one special. I couldn't take her virginity. I sighed. "Sorry..."
"Somehow I knew you'd say that. But it doesn't hurt bad, no..." She spoke quickly, embarrassment in her tone of voice.
"Ash...I'm flattered, really. But don't you want to do that with someone more...special?"
"Leon, we've been through so much together already. And during that time, I think I've fallen for you." She explained.
"Well...shouldn't we wait for some, err, "overtime"? You know, like go on a date first."
Ashley blinked. "What?"
I rose a brow. "What?" I repeated back to her, confused.
Ashley's eyes then widened and she shook her head. "Oh god, no! I didn't mean..." She sighed. "By "overtime", I did mean a date...I swear..."
I chuckled slightly. "It's cool, Ash."
She looked at me again. "So...do you want to go out on a date?" She asked.
I thought about this for a minute. Ashley was cute, but how would her father react? Imagine if he thought I did bang her while on the mission. Whatever. I'm just overreacting. Besides, I hadn't been on a date in a long time. Plus, Ashley was really beautiful with her short blonde hair, almond eyes, smooth skin...She was...perfect. Even with her personality. She didn't cuss much. She was the sweetest girl ever. She was a girl that didn't need to be caught up in all of Saddler's shit.
"I'll think about it, okay? I've got to make sure your dad trusts me enough." I said, flashing her a wink.
Ashley giggled a little. "I'm sure he would trust you after seeing that you saved me."
"Good point." I smiled.
A moment of silence filled the air, the only audible noise was coming from the jet ski riding on the water. Ashley broke the silence.
"So who was that woman, anyway?" She asked, referring to Ada.
I smirked a little to myself. "Why do you ask?" I teased.
"Oh come on! Tell me!"
I chuckled slightly and shrugged. "I don't know...An old time crush, I guess. She was never really interested in me, so I moved on. But I still care about her." And I wasn't lying either. Even though she might be somewhat untrustworthy, I still couldn't bear to see her hurt or...dead. I glanced back at Ashley. "Let's leave it at that."

After a long ride on a jet-ski and a helicopter, Ashley and I finally made it to the President.
We stood in front of the big house the both of us hungry and in need for a shower. I glanced at her and smiled, holding my hand out for her to take. "Come on."
Ashley smiled brightly and nodded her head as she grabbed onto my hand. I squeezed her hand, gently, and led her into the big mansion-like house.
I approached a security guard in a black suit with shades and said, "Leon S. Kennedy. I'm here for the President."
"You were sent to find Ashley, correct?" He questioned.
I nodded. "Yeah."
He smiled. "Glad you found her." He turned around and walked towards a long, narrow hallway. "Follow me."

We entered the Presidents office. He turned around almost instantly and was in awe as he saw Ashley.
"Ashley..." He whispered before jogging up to his daughter. The two embraced for a moment before the President turned to look at me. "Thank you, Leon."
I shook my head. "No need to thank me, sir. I was just doing my job."
"You put your life at risk and you never gave up. I owe you for that." He said. "How about you spend the night for tonight?"
"Oh, no, I couldn't possibly--"
Ashley cut me off. "Please, Leon."
I looked at her and smiled. I couldn't say no to her. "Alright." Ashley smiled.
"There's a spare room up ahead. Rick will show you." He said, motioning to the security guard.
I nodded and headed towards Rick.
Feels good to be back...
