(Dallon POV)

I didn't want to go home right away. We both needed time to calm down, and talk about what was happening. Sitting at my apartment wasn't the best place to do that. So I did what any logical man would do, if his friend was sad. I drove past the apartment, and towards the California/Nevada border.

"Um..Where are we going.." He seemed confused.

"It's gonna be a long drive bud. I recommend you get some sleep.. You don't have any plans this week right?"

            "No..But where are we going.."

"I can't tell you. Sorry kiddo." I was grinning, this would be fun.

Three hours in, about one hour left. Brendon had fallen asleep about an hour ago. So I was left in total silence. So, I grabbed my phone and plugged it into the aux cord, and hit shuffle. Brendon's voice was blaring out of the speakers. I quickly turned it down before it woke him. I started singing along.

You can skip this part, it's just lyrics. I just thought it would be kinda cute.

He was the congregation's vagrant,

With an unrequited love. When your passion's exaltation,
Than finding refuge is not enough. She was the youngest of the family
And the last to be let go.
Then they decided they would try
To make it on their own.Oh memories!
Where'd you go?
You were all I've ever known!
How I miss yesterday!
And how I'd let it fade away?
Where'd you go?

Brendon stirred in the seat next to me, and I turned the music down so he didn't wake up. We just started talking again, and my feelings are different.
Shit...Shit..You don't have feelings for him. Just stop thinking. This is going way too fast.
I, being the idiot I am, punched the steering wheel causing the horn to go off for a few seconds. Brendon stirred again, and his eyes were fluttering open.
"Good morning beautiful" I chuckled.
"Are we there yet.." His sleepy voice was so adorable.
"30 more minutes..I promise.." I turned to face him and smiled. So he curled back up and fell asleep.

We finally arrived, Las Vegas. I'm sure he had been here before, but he used to talk about Vegas all the time. I wanted him to be happy.
I gently shook his shoulder, trying not to startle him. "B..We're here." His eyes fluttered open once again, and I was greeted with the beautiful brown eyes of his.
"Where exactly is here.." He was still half asleep.

(Brendon POV)

"Where exactly is here?" I asked. My state of mind wasn't exactly on point and I was still very tired. All I remembered was going past Dallon's apartment building, and then falling asleep.

"I think you can figure that out for yourself.." He turned his attention out the windshield and for the first time, I noticed the bright neon, and yellow lights illuminating the car. I quickly sat up, and saw the Las Vegas sign.
"Oh my god. Dallon. You didn't." I was smiling hysterically. I probably looked like a mad man.
"Hey..It's what friends are for." He smiled and started driving again.
"Where are we staying, how are we going to pay for this?" I was worried. I didn't want to stay anywhere too fancy if Dallon was paying for it.
"Don't worry. I've got it covered." He gave me a quick smile and continued to drive.

About ten minutes later, we pulled up to one of the most extravagant hotels in Vegas. Caesars Palace. My jaw dropped at the beauty.
"Oh my god Dallon.." He turned and smiled at me once again.
"It's great I know!" He squealed like a little girl. "I can't wait. We're going to have so much fun. Hot babes, gambling, all the shits." I laughed a little.
"Any who, let's find somewhere to park and get a room. I want to stay in a penthouse." My jaw dropped. He wanted to stay..in a penthouse..
As we were getting out of the car I was still arguing with him about splitting the payment. "Dallon, one night can cost like 40,000 dollars. You're not paying for all of it, especially if we're staying for 5 days."
He was walking faster towards the doors of the huge, glowing building.
"Shut up. We just met after however many years. Let me do something nice. Please."
All I did was sign in response, as we finally reached the doors and made our way to the large desk.
A young blonde woman was standing there, with a tight green shirt, and black shirt.
"Hello, I'm Annie welcome to Carsars Palace." She smiled and looked both of us up and down. "Wait..are you-" Dallon cut her off.
"Yes. The one and only. Now if you could, just get us a room." Annie gave him a dirty look and took his credit card from him. "We want a penthouse please." Dallon was straight to the point, and didn't let fame get to him, unlike me. That's what I liked about him.
"Room 451, here are your cards. Have a nice time." She smiled at us and we walked away.
It took us about 5 minutes to find our room. When we finally did I opened the door with the key card, and was overtaken by the beauty.
"Holy...shit.." I was so impressed.  "Wait..what about clothes and stuff..?"
"Uh..Patrick said he was gonna come here with Pete..he said he'd stop and get stuff."
I turned to my side and, and hugged him. "Thank you so much. You're the best."
This was going to be a great week.
