The next day I go to the market to fetch some food that Mrs. Brown needs for a big dinner in a couple of days. I had visited the stand with the kids again. I finish up there and I go to the bread and egg shop down the street.

Walking into the shop and ordering two cartons of milk and two cartons of eggs. I walk down the street waiting for the order to finish. I then walk into a book store. I looking over a section and looking around when I feel someone's eyes on me. I look up and see a young man with brown hair and blue eyes looking at me. I blush and look back down at my book. Out of the corner of my eye I see him walking towards me.

"Miss?" He says.

"Yes," I look up at him.

"That is a wonderful book you are holding," he says and smiles at me. I look down at the book and it's William Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet.

"Yes it is, I have read it so many times," I say with a small smile.

"My name is Henry," he says and bows.

I blush, " My name is Emma," I say and give a small nod.

"That is a beautiful name." I blush at the compliment.

"What is your favorite book from Shakespeare?" I ask.

"Mine has to be Tale of Two Cities."

"That is a good one too." I look at a clock in the store.

"Well it was nice meeting you. I have to go pick up my things," I say softly and nod my head. Walking out the store.

"Here let me escort you," I hear him say and he stands next to me.

"Thank you," I say and walk with him. We pass a couple of stores. One of the store job doors open and I look up to see William.

"Emma? What are you doing here?" He asks and stands next to me and then I see him glare at Henry.

"I was in town getting some items for Mrs. Brown. I have a big dinner to attend to in a couple of days.

"Your Emma," I hear Henry whisper and then I look at Henry and William.

"Do you two know each other?" I ask them.

"Yes, I'm William's friend from France," Henry says smiling. I look at William and blush.

"Well I better get going," I say softly. The door opens from the shop William came out of and I see a girl and her mother.

"Oh, William your father told me I could come over for a ride anytime that you are free," the girl says and then she frowns at me softly.

"Why are you talking to Mrs. Brown's maid, she is nothing to us nobles," she says and smirks at me.

I put my head down, "I'm sorry I better be going," I whisper and bow. I walk back down the street and I hold back tears. Picking up my items from the shop and head back to Mrs. Brown's town house.

'Can William and I be together? I am a maid,' I think to myself and I put all the food items away in the kitchen. I finish up cleaning the house and help Mrs. Brown to bed. I then go and brush out my hair in my room. I think about the relationship that William and I could have.
