~Two year's later, 1674~

It was July 4th 1674, Emma and Harriet sat outside with their daughter Isabelle. Emma sat planting flowers as Harriet cut down trees to finish there house. Their house was down by a river and they were close to a enormous forest. As most houses in New France were  built near a river and forest and made from wooden logs and were stuck together by sand, lime and water. Emma was trying to save up for glass window's. They were very expensive because they had to use stretched animal skin or waxed paper. Window's were supposed to be really small but Emma wanted a big window in the main area. When there house was finished the roof looked slanted because they made there roof from wood and wood shingles. It looked a lot like a log cabin.

It was very hard for Emma and Harriet to afford food that wasn't grown in New France because only the rich could afford it. But one of Harriet's main jobs was to hunt, geese, ducks, partridge, deer moose, and bear

Harriet has wanted to show his daughter Isabelle and Emma the animals in real action  since in France Emma wouldn't have been able to see all the inconceivable animals and now that she's here Harriet wants to show the animals off, but women aren't aloud to go on hunting trips. Or hunt at all.

After Emma was done her planting she went inside to put Isabelle asleep for the night. As soon as Isabelle was asleep, Emma went and sat on a stump in the main area. She started making knee breeches (Pant's that were tied at the knee.) Harriet would always end up getting them ripped by the end of the day, from being on his knees all day. Usually Emma make's all her clothes at night so there ready for the sunrise the next day. Emma's and Isabelle's clothes were made of linen.

The lilliputian moon started to come up to the sky, Emma went outside and called "Harriet... time to come in it's getting dark." Harriet notified "I'm coming I just have to grab the tools"

Harriet had several trips bringing back his, plow, harrow, scythe, wooden flail, hoe, pitch forks, and iron pickaxes. Emma tried to insist "Let me help." He growled back "No! You're to anemic and fragile."
