Julia's POV
He was driving fast. He held a gun to my head. He didn't say a word. Why? Why me? Why now? My life was going great. It seems whenever I get my life going good someone or something has to get in the way of my happiness. It's not fair. He stopped the car and turned it off. He got out. I stayed in the car. He went around the car to the passenger side. He opened the door. I got out. He closed the door. He held me close to him as he walked. We walked into a house. He made me sit of a chair. He tied my legs to the legs of the chair. He tied my hands behind the chair and walked away. I heard him talking in the other room. "Hi," He said. "You should come over. I have a surprised," he said after a pause.
He hung the phone up as he walked into the room I was in. It looked like a dinning room. I tried to wiggle free. It was no use. He sat on a chair and just watched me. After a long pause he said "you stole the only thing that was important to me, so I'm going to steal the only thing important to you."
"What would that be?" I asked.
"Your parents," he said.
"Are you dumb. My parents left me," I told him annoyed.
"I've done research on you. Your mom got raped and she wanted to keep you but when you were born it was too much for her. I found out who our mom was," he told me.
"So who is she?" I asked annoyed.
"She is my ex wife," he told me.
"Well I'm guessing some ugly guy like you ain't my dad since I look flawless," I laughed a little.
That got him mad. I found it hilarious. Some knocked on the door just as I stopped laughing. He opened the door and greeted his ex wife. All I heard from the conversation was her name was Kathy. They walked into the room. "Kathy do you know who she is?" He asked.
"No, I don't Elliot," Kathy said.
"Well this is Julia. Your daughter," he said.
"Why is tied up?" Kathy asked.
"She took something from me so I'm going to take something from her," Elliot told her.
"What are you going to take from her?" Kathy asked.
"You," he said.
Nick's POV
I didn't know who took Julia. Liv left. So did Julia's grandmother. I ran the streets for hours looking for them. After hours of searching and didn't find them I walked back to the precinct. I walked in and saw Liv and Julia's grandma. "I've been looking all over for you guys," I told them.
"Sorry," Liv said.
"Who do you know that would be jealous of you having Julia in your life?" I asked her.
"I don't know but I did talk to my old partner a few days ago," Liv told me.
"Let's go see if he knows anything," I said to them.
"He doesn't," Liv said.
"You don't know that," I told them.
We got into the car. Liv was driving because she knew where the place was. I was in the passenger seat while Julia's grandma was in the back. We arrived shortly after. Liv got out first and then I did. Julia's grandma was the last to get out. I inspected the outside while Liv walked up the stairs to the front door. I looked into the garage and saw the grandma's car. I started walking over to Liv as she was about to knock. That's when a shot came from inside. I rushed over there and told the grandma to stay back. Liv and I rushed in. We found Kathy on the floor. Liv stayed with her while I went out back. Another shot. I ran out and saw Julia's grandma laying there almost dead. "Hold pressure on the wound. The ambulance is on the way. Where did they head?" I asked.
"L-Left," she said gasping for breath. "T-Tell Julia t-that I love h-her," she said closing her eyes.
I heard the ambulance in the background. I called liv. "Liv the grandma is in the back. I don't know if she's breathing. Get her to the hospital as soon as possible. I'm going after Elliot and Julia," I said before I hung up.
I ran and turned left. Something hit my head. Hard. I turned around slowly. I saw him with a bar in his hand and the other hand held a gun to Julia's head. I signaled for Julia to ran. She did. Fast. He hit me with the bar and I blacked out.
