"Come on, come on, come on!"

I'm getting my hopes up again, I think as I look down at the little magic stick.

My husband of five years and I really want this baby. But, because we want it, we can't seem to get it. This is all too familiar. Sitting in the bathroom waiting for the results. Its always the same.

"Hey babe!"

I hear Bradley yell from the front of the house. I sit the test on the sink and head to the living room.

"Yeah?" I say, smiling over at him.

"I'm going to head over to mom's. She's having lawn mower problems again." He said, shaking his head smiling. "Wanna go?"

"No, that's quite alright." I laughed. "I need to go to the grocery store in a few." I answered.

"Alright, I'll see you in a few." He grabbed me by the side pulling me in for a kiss before heading out the door.

I went to my bedroom to grab my purse and the grocery list in the kitchen and just as I touched the door handle to leave I remembered I left the test laying on the sink. I ran back to pick it up and throw it away only to glance down and notice something different. Two pink lines.

"Oh my gosh!" I yelled, jumping up and down with excitement.

"We did it!" I yell out to nobody.

I quickly grab my phone out to call my mom. After a few rings, she picks up.

"Hey baby." She said with a smile in her voice.

"Baby is right!" I gushed out.

"Oh my!" She started laughing. "I'm so happy for you! How excited is Brad?!"

"I haven't told him yet, I'm thinking during dinner tonight."

"You two will make perfect parents!" she said excitedly.

I smiled. "Well mom, I better get off here. I need to run to the store, just wanted you to be the first to know."

"Okay Anna. love you."

"love you too, bye mom." After hanging up, I put the test in my purse and head out.

"Okay..milk..check." I say to myself as I cross off the last item on my list. I go to get in line and notice there's only one really long register open in the whole place.

"Of course." I say to myself when the man in front notices me.

"Yeah, I know. this is ridiculous." he had a frustrated look on his face.

Even while annoyed, he looked like a very nice man. He wore an expensive outfit with brand new black nikes on and a laptop case around his shoulder.

Odd. I thought to myself. As the line got shorter, it seemed as if the man got even more antsy. Before I know it, I have an arm around my chest and a gun pointed right at my head.

"Alright, nobody move or I will shoot!" this 'nice man' shouted. I froze. The whole store froze. No, not me. Not now. My baby.

"Give me all of the money in the register!" he demanded pushing his gun up against my temple. After getting what he wanted, He kept the gun where it was and one arm around the front of me and started backing away to the side exit. What could I do? Fight? No, that could end badly. Maybe he will let me go before he leaves. Hopefully.

"Don't think about running." He whispered in my ear, and that's when I knew I wasn't getting off that easy.

He opened the door and shut it just as fast behind him and walked over to a brand new black Chevy truck. He pushed me in the passenger side and slammed the door. I frantically tried opening it but it wouldn't budge, so I started screaming trying to get someones attention. That was a bad idea.
