This story that is about to unfold is based upon a very popular "creepypasta" that spread out across the internet a while ago. The original story mainly told of five inmate prisoners of the nation who were placed in a research cell and were promised released if they were to stay in the room for a full fifteen days. This, of course, was a ploy.
What ended up happening was that the prisoners began losing their sanity and slowly spiraling out of their minds. It got to a point where they resorted to cannibalism and other disturbing acts.
The story was originally set towards the end of the 1940s and...of course...set in Russia.
However, this shall be told much differently as it shall be set in 1980s and taking place in Seaview Hospital, Staten Island located in New York. Unbeknownst to the general public and the government alike, a brilliant scientist has discovered a gas that acts as a sleep-based stimulant. He's taken five men who have wronged him in the past. Testing his gas on them goes from bad to even worse as horrific events lead many of his fellow researchers to question their placement in his grand scheme of revenge and maniacal pursuit of science.
This story is mainly told as an overall research story, but has different perspectives from a handful of the researches and their experiences during this long, fifteen day process.
