~ ALEXANDRA ~
"Alex, wait!"
I smiled for mysel, but kept walking. He grabbed my shoulder and spun me around two seconds later.
"Let's make a deal." he said.
"A deal? What kind of deal?" I asked.
He removed his hand from my shoulder.
"I have lunch with you today, you show me the school."
"And then what?" I was curious now.
"Then you leave me alone. And you make sure that everyone leaves me alone."
His words hit me like a punch. What? How would I make everyone leave him alone? Did he think I was some kind of queen in this school?
"I-"
"You can do that." It wasn't a question.
"What? No, I can't!" I looked at him with a frown.
"Why not" he asked, clearly surprised.
"Why would people listen to me? Do as I say? No, you have to fix that yourself." I said and started to walk away again, but now he closed his long fingers around my wrist.
"Not so fast, pretty girl."
I frowned again. Nobody had ever called me pretty. Maybe 'pretty girl' was some kind of insult where he came from. Great. He probably thought I was some upper class, snobbish girl.
"Let's hold on to the deal. Wait with it for a while, until you figure out how to make them leave me alone." Now he nodded against a group of girls, watching him not so discrete. They didn't even look away when we stared back at them. Nice. I understood him, I didn't like them either.
"Actually, it's easy. Stick with me." I said simply.
"Sorry?" His eyebrows raised and his grip around my wrist eased.
"You heard me. If you want them to ignore you, you have to stay with me. They ignore me. Act like I don't exist." I said. "Is that really what you want?"
His eyes locked with mine, and I noticed the color. Greenish, but still a bit blue. Pretty. He shook his head.
"No, it has to be another way." he said and frowned.
"Wow. Thanks a lot." I said sarcastically.
"Don't take it-
"Personal. Sure. Whatever." With a sigh I pulled my arm out from his grip and turned my back against him.
"Alex, I didn't mean it like that." Louis called after me, but I wasn't going to let him stop me this time.
If loneliness was what he wanted, lonelinesss was what he should get.
A/N: Sorry I didn't upload yesterday! I was at my grandparents house and didn't have time.
This is a short chapter, but I hope you like it anyway! (:
