Chapter 6 | My First Crush

This story was not meant to offend anyone, but myself. This was requested by my best friend midnightsun0706 check out her stories they are amazing!

His name was Ryan. Since the beginning of the school year I had a really big crush on him to find out that he liked me too. We walked together, talked together, and even partnered together when we did work. When I was being bullied because of how short I was he always stood up for me. He was basically my guide to school.

Then, in 3rd grade we kind of didn't talk because he didn't have the same teacher that I did. We still talked and so did our parents. We had play-dates sometimes and we even went to Nifty-Fifty's. On the last day of school he told me, "I hope we get in the same classes next year," then, he smiled and walked away with so much joy because he actually privately talked to the girl he liked.

Fourth grade rolled around the corner and it was a coincidence that we got into the same classes.

*Skipping far into the year to April 10th, 2014* 

    At the end of the day, we have an extra twenty minutes to talk to our friends.  So, Ryan and I were talking and we got randomly onto the topic of our crushes.  We didn't want to tell each other face to face so we did it over the Instagram Direct Message when we got home.

     When I got home at around 6:30 because I had dance practice that night I saw that he texted who his crush was on Instagram.  I opened it up and it said, "I really like you..."  I was shocked.  I answered back and said, "I really like you too..."  We both were shocked.  Then, he asked me out.  I asked my mom and dad and they said yes to the idea.

     We dated for almost a year.  Our families were close so my parents let me date him, but after a while he never seemed to answer my texts.  So I politely broke up with him.  He was okay with it and we have been very good friends ever since.  We still hangout sometimes, but not as much as we used too.  Ever since that break up I have never had a crush and I never dated.  He has dated someone, but he regretted it, and said he rather date me then anyone else he ever dated, and I still think about that sometimes.
