I knew

I was the lonely one that everyone tear apart,
The freak at school that every fool will call a trash,
But someday I saw an angel walking in the hall.
Since then you were the only one to ever make me smile.

Who will know that I'll found heaven in your eyes,
That when I wake up I'll be finally all right.
I have never felt like I could touch the sky,
But you found the way to make me feel alive.

Now that you're gone I have nothing left,
And I knew this will happen, but I couldn't resist
To hold you in my arms at least for a while.
Funny thing, you're all right and I'm writing these lines.

'Cause guess what? Everything has changed.
You're not the one who took me out of my Hades.
I thought you were different, not a prince, but a real man,
But you left me alone, right alone like I have always been.

Deleting all the memories will be fine, but I just can't
To forget those moments you painted in my life.
You composed music where there was only silence,
And teach me how to dance in the rain, you make me happy.

I knew it was so perfect, so beautiful, like a paradise.
I was so blind.

Now that you're gone I have nothing but these scars,
Maybe not as huge as the ones in my lonely heart.
I have only loved you, I wanted you to know that,
And I really hope you find this letter, even if is too late to save me.
It was a pleasure to feel alive... at least once. Good bye.
