April 22
I remember it like it was yesterday. It was the day I was going to raliff5sosofcourse.
Everything, and I mean everything, was different. The was the air smelt. The feeling I got from planting my bare feet onto the lavender sand. The sweetness of the fruits that grew on the tallest of trees. It was quite peaceful actually... But that's beside the point. You can't always expect people to go and change their life forever, without even being the tiniest bit nervous. So believe me when I tell you, I was shitting bricks.
The second I opened my eyes, I was filled with mixed emotions. Nerves sending chills down my spine, even under my warm silk blankets, I would shutter from the thought of something going wrong with my space pod. Or loosing oxygen the second I came in contact with the strange planet.I quickly got up to stretch and get ready for the day. Obviously not forgetting to stop in my tracks and admire my luscious curls. I shuffled my feet into my connected bathroom and swiftly, with the touch of my finger, turned on my sink and wash my hands. Only to make my self have to go pee right after and quickly wash my hands again. Which was completely exhausting, the second time around.
After I finished my morning routine I grabbed a quick nutrition bar and emptied a water bottle, soon filling it up with orange juice and racing to get in my car. I couldn't be late today. So I drove as fast as the speed limit let me until I finally, after what seemed like 74929377492 years, i made it to the station. "Hey Calum, ready for another day of training?" Michael, my flying partner said. I thought about it for a second, mockingly tapping my pointer finger to my chin and putting my face into a deep frown. Almost as if I was thinking a little too hard. "Nah, you?" I said, taking hold of my beloved space suit. He answered with a tiny chuckle and the shaking of his head. "Oh boy am I exited to see the new planet tho, only two more hours left on this planet till we're off to find more land."
- (after flying practice or whatever astronauts call them) -
"Prepare for landing in, five, four, three, two, and we're off!" Suddenly the whole space craft erupted with loud shouts and laughter, as each and every o e of us, were proud of ourselves for being able to step outside of our comfort zone. Literally. We held on tight to our chairs and even some tightened their seatbelt. We were finally doing something record making worthy. Creating civilization on new exotic planets.
I watched as the aircraft doors slowly opened, and with a puff of air, a beautiful, new, planet laid. I could t believe my eyes.
