(When in italics it means that's what they are thinking/saying in her head. Just wanted to point that our for no confusion. :D)

She casually strolled through the kingdom of Ravenmire, brushing her hand across the the smooth stone that made up of the giant dragon statue placed at the center of the city.

"Today is going to be a long day." The girl said with a deep sigh.

'He's been gone for 8 years now. I wonder if he's enjoying life....or...maybe he's...' She shook her head. "No, what am I thinking?" taking yet another deep sigh.

She leaned on the large statue and slowly slid down, looking down at the ground. She closed her eyes despite the sun was bright and she had been exhausted. Soon after sitting in the blazing suns rays, a large shadow blocked the light that had been shining in her eyes.

"C'mon get up. Lunar are you even listening to me! Get up dammit!" A familiar voice spoke to Lunar, lightly kicking her. Lunar tiredly sat up and rubbed her eyes, her vision disoriented and blurry. "Shut up and just-" she stopped immediately when her eyes finally adjusted to the light.

"Yeah. Miss me you brat? Now c'mon we need to get to work!" The man shouted at her whilst extending his hand out to Lunar.

"Couldn't you just of let me rest for a little while longer Jay?" Lunar responded weakly, she grabbed his hand and pulled herself up. Almost face to face with Jay.

He laughed when Lunar responded, "Hahahahahaha!! Your too funny Lunar!" He cried with tears of laughter.

"Haha, very funny! Let's go before I hit you!" Lunar said jokingly yet annoyed at the same time.

The two walked along the path until they reached the job board that was placed at the front gate of Ravenmire. Lunar and Jay were debating once more...

"All I'm saying is that they should completely remove the curfews in Ravenmire!! It gives me a headache even thinking about it! I mean what purpose does it have anyway!?!" Jay ranted on while Lunar was chuckling behind him.

"Hey! What's so funny?!" Jay shouted like an embarrassed child.

"Oh nothing! Just the great hero Jay is complaining about a silly thing like curfews!" She said, teasing him.

"Don't patronize me! Let's just find a job and get out of here!" He responded in a pout as they both simultaneously stopped in front of the job board.

Their eyes scanned all the different requests, Jay would pick up a few and Lunar would take them from him and put it back. They began to argue yet....again. In their argument, Lunar felt something cold around her. She shushed Jay for a moment and looked around, the cold presence stopped as soon as she jolted her head to look behind her.

"Jay? Did you feel that?" she said uneasy and worried.

"Yeah. A nice punch in the arm is what I felt!" He replied glaring at Lunar for punching him, he continued to look at the possible jobs.

"Hmm...guess it was my imagination." Lunar said, continuing to help Jay look.

He grabbed a few and they went off to seek information.
"This Bounty says it's from........Quillston? Anyway we should go check it out."

They both nodded and began to make their way out the East Gate. They walked for hours upon hours, to poor to hire a carriage and to tired to continue. The woods were a dangerous place to be, both at day and night. Jay seemed to be more observant of his movements and surroundings, bandits were known to attack small groups of travellers along the path.

A silent shadow lurked behind them, not a sound to be heard, not a mistake to be made. A crack was heard a bit of ways behind them, Jay frowned. A dart whistled through the air. Lunar reflexes kicked in and put her hand in front of Jay's heart, the dart was shot dead center in the middle of her palm.

"Dammit Lunar!" He whispered to himself.

He noticed Lunar slowly starting to fall to the ground, quickly catching her before she made impact with the earth beneath them.
Jay looked down and grabbed Lunars hand, "Sleep dart, figured as much. Let's just see how much they manage to piss me off." He grunted, placing Lunar gently on the ground and looking in the direction the dart came from. He put his guard up, all focus on his surroundings.

A woman's voice echoed from the darkness, "Aww, did I hurt your poor girl? You must be devastated." she said in a fake pouting tone of voice.

Jay growled to himself, annoyed at the woman while turning in all directions. "It's getting late, night will be to her advantage.
I need to get Lunar out of here. Quickly." he began to discuss amongst himself.

He looked at Lunar sleeping soundly on the ground and then looked towards the path going to Quillston.
"She better thank me later for this.." knowing he didn't have the energy to fight, fleeing with Lunar was his best chance.

Jay took one last deep breath. The woman smiled and stretched back the string on her bow, adjusting her aim. He quickly rushed to pick up Lunar and sprinted his way to Quillston.

The mysterious woman then swiftly released the string, propelling the arrow towards Jay's right shoulder.

A loud thud was heared as his vision went black...
