Chapter 8

*Hailey's POV*

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

Nooo its school today!

K: "ughh! Morning"

H: "morning"

I got up and took a quick shower did my daily routine and changed into a cropped top, black high waisted shorts and floral sneakers.

Went downstairs and found Kelly already dressed in tee, light denim jeans, and black vans watching TV.

I sat next to her until we had to leave for school.

*At School during lunch*

It's lunch time and I'm sitting with Kelly at our table eating lunch.

H: "how are you going to tell your mum?"

K: "I have no idea, what about your parents?"

H: "I'm going to tell them during dinner and hope for the best!"

K: "what if my mum doesn't let me? What's going to happen then?" She panicked.

H: "woah their babe! Slow down. Don't worry I'm sure she'll let you come and besides this is YOUR dream, you can't pass this once in a life time thing!"

K: "your right Hails! I can do it!!"

H: "that's the spirit!"

*RING RING*

H: "well I gotta get to class I'll see you after school so I can pick up my stuff"

K: "okay see you later!"

*After school at Kelly's house*

*Hailey's POV*

H: "okay I'm just going to get my things I'll be back"

I ran upstairs grabbed my bag, makeup bag and toiletries then ran back downstairs.

H: "okay I'm going to go. Call me after you tell your mum! Love you lots!"

K: "alright love you too!"

I gave her a tight hug 'cause I could tell she was nervous and headed home.

*When she arrives home*

H: "IM HOME!"

M: "hello dear! I'm just in the middle of cooking dinner so you can go get ready before dad comes home" my mum called from the kitchen.

H: "Kay!"

I skipped to my bedroom and took a nice warm shower. When I got out I wrapped a towel around my body put on my undergarments then put on a knitted sweater, black legging and socks.

I dried my hair a bit with a towel and walked back into the kitchen to help my mum.

*10 minutes later*

D: "I'm home!" My father called as he came into the kitchen said hello, kissed me and my mums cheeks and had dinner.

*In the middle of dinner*

H: "mum, dad I have something to say."

D: "okay go on hun"

H: "well on Saturday me and Kelly went out to dinner at Nandos. That day they were suppose to have an act to perform a song or something, but couldn't make it. So Kelly suggested me to sing after I sang 4 boys came to us who are actually in a band called 5 Seconds of Summer and they asked me if I could open for them on their world tour this year!! So can I go?"

It was silent and I was starting to get nervous.

M: "OF COUSE YOU CAN GO!" My mum beamed at me.

I was dumb struck.

H: "really?!?" I said in disbelief

D: "yeah this is your dream and we will always be right behind you. Besides me and your mum got a promotion to London for a whole year! We are leaving next month"

H: "THANK YOU!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

M: "we love you too sweetie! Now when do you leave?"

H: "next month"

D: "good, we have enough time to spend together!"

H: "except Friday, I have to go to recording"

M: "that's alright and I have to call the school so they can let you finish some things and do some online schooling!"

H: "thanks mum! Maybe this weekend we could go shopping and stuff?"

M: "sure and we could go to the spa!"

D: "and we could go sight seeing and see the places we haven't been to!"

H: "can't wait I'm going to go call Kelly!"

M: "WAIT! Speaking of Kelly what about her?"

H: "well I asked the boys manager if she could be my makeup artist and stylist for the tour!"

M: "oh alright then, off you go!"

I left and called Kelly.

*During the phone call*

K: Hailey I was just about to call you" she laughed

H: "did you ask your mum?"

K: "yeah.."

H: "what did she say?"

K: "She said she'll think about it" she said in a sad tone

H: "awww it's okay Kel"

K: "what about you? What did your parents say?"

H: "they said yes! They had a promotion to London for a whole year anyways!"

K: "that's great.."

H: "hey I have an idea!"

K: "okay.."

H: "your mum loves dogs right?"

K: "yeah why?"

H: "why don't you get a puppy for her while your gone so she won't get lonely!"

K: "but Hails I can't afford a dog"

H: "then I'll buy it! I'm rich anyways remember!"

I forgot to mention I am pretty rich my parents get a lot of money from where they work and I live in a huge mansion!

K: "Hailey I can't take your money even if you are rich" she whined

H: "consider it as a thank you gift for being there for me and to your mum for letting you come with me!"

K: "thank you so much Hailey I love you!"

H: "anytime!"

K: "okay my mum said she'll let me know tomorrow if I could go or not during dinner!"

H: "okay so we'll buy it after school! I have to go now bye!"

K: "bye see you tomorrow"

I then drifted off to sleep.
