Chapter - 6

-9 months later -

M A X

Me and Ross have been taking good care of the baby. His doing really great, yeah the baby's a he! Can you believe it? Me  and Ross are going to be parents soon. We thought of baby names and the one we agreed to was Soren "Max!" I heard my narwhal yell from the living room. Me and Ross moved out a while ago when the baby was six months old. "Max! I can't stand up!" I ran towards the living room not caring that I broke a vase. I was shocked at what I saw. "Max my water broke!" The baby's coming! "Oh god what do I do?!" I was starting to panic, Ross was breathing heavily. "God Max help me to the car!" Ross shouted. I helped him stand up and went to my car as fast as I could. I opened the passenger's seat and placed him gently onto it. I ran to the drivers seat, starting up the car. I took a little glance at the mirror , Ross was breathing heavily. I started turning up the gas and started blitzing to the hospital. As I was about to turn a corner a car suddenly appeared out of nowhere, causing me to turn the wheel, and crash. I was knocked out,but before that, i saw Ross unconscious , and I blacked out.

===at the hospital===

I woke up to a pain on my head. Fuck it hurts , wait where's Ross, is the baby okay. I started to panic, and notice I was in an hospital bed, when wires attached to me. I pulled every wire that was attached to me and started looking for Ross. I looked in every bed in the room, you see every bed has a curtain in between them so I took a look at every last one. Not there, not there. There's only one left . I slowly walked towards it and the figure started getting clearer and clearer. "Ross..." I whispered. He was unconscious still. Wait his stomach was flat. " the baby..." I heard fort steps coming closer and closer, but I didn't care,I was crying. "Max...." I heard a familiar voice say. I turn around to see Adam and the whole office. "Where's the baby?" Everyone looked down at the floor, oh no. " I said, what fucking happened to the baby god damn it!" I was crying and sobbing. I need to no that the baby is okay. "We're sorry Max, the baby, didn't make it." Adam said. Jesse was crying, Tim ,John and Red were just silent. My whole world shattered into pieces . The baby was gone, all because of me. I feel to my knees hands covering my teary face. It's all my fault this happened . "Max? Where's the baby?" Ross... I walked slowly towards my lover's bed . His eyes were half open. "R-Ross, I'm sorry, the baby's gone. It's all my fault! I'm sorry!" I was crying again. Ross' eyes started creating streams of tears. "Hello? Are you Ross and Max right?" I turned to look at the person. He was a doctor I think. I nodded " well , I'm sorry for your lose . We couldn't save the baby in time. You can get out if the hospital now." I looked at Ross and his face was a teary mess.

We started getting out of the hospital and got to Tim's car. I sat at the back seat with Ross. Not saying anything it was an eary silence. I was crying silently at the other aide of the car. It's all my fault that the baby died! I was going to fast. Tim stopped at our house and I proceeded to wipe my tears and got out of the car. I opened the door to Ross and he came out. The house was silent from the outside. There was something off. I looked at Ross who was looking down at the ground. I looked at the house, yup there is something of. I heard crying, like it was from a baby or something. "Ross do you hear that?" I ask. Ross walked beside me and nodded. We walked closer to the door. I looked back at Tim through his window, before he could close his window I saw a slight grin.

I turned back to the door of our house. I started walking to the door, soon enough I was in front of it. I motion to Ross to follow me, which he followed. I opened the door slowly.

"Surprise!" I almost fainted . Everybody in the office was here. " what's going on guys?" They all grinned and other's laugh. They moved to the said. In the middle of the crowd was a crib. No it can't be. " go on you two." I heard someone say. I looked at Ross who was crying and nodded. We both walked slowly to the crib and heard crying. We slowly saw a small figure crying. Ross held my hand and covered his mouth. I picked up the baby. It looked like Ross. "But how?" I was in disbelief as to what I saw. It was our baby. "Well, after the crash the  doctor called us all and he said that you were involved in a crash, and the doctor also said that the baby was fine and they took it out of Ross" I was in disbelief still." But the doctor said the baby was " I couldn't say it. "Well as for that we convinced the doctor to say that the baby was dead and acted it out. The baby was in your house the whole time with Shelby! We did this because we want you Max to eat your own medicine. You almost killed your baby!" I was crying and looked at our baby. He was actually alive, I looked over at Ross and kiss him. Everybody clapped there hands. I'm going to kill them for making me think that our baby was gone but for now , my family, is finally..
