Starlight pov
My name is Starlight Calciferling and tomorrow is my birthday. It's Thursday June 12th and tomorrow I'll be 17. Today's the last day of school the Dragon club told me they wanted to plan a special birthday for me. All of my best friends are part of the Dragon club. We have all know each other for years and we are all graduating this year. Its midnight and my uncle and I just finished talking about my birthday tomorrow.
"All my friends said they had something special planed" I say excitedly
"Well they can handle the friend part of your birthday and I'll handle the family part." replied Uncle Bobby. I smile and nod my head.
" What do you have in mind."
"Well I was think maybe we could invite your grandparents and...." He mumbled the last part.
"And who" I say questionably
"And maybe Bill" he says quietly
"What? No way." I reply kind of mad
"But yesterday he called and told me he's changed" he said hoping I would change my mind.
"I don't know uncle Bobby. Can I think about it." I say confused.
"Sure we will talk later." He says
"Okay" I say smiling.
"Its getting late why don't you head up to bed. I'll see you in the morning"
"Okay, goodnight uncle Bobby." I say walking up the stars to my room.
"Goodnight Star." he replies.
I wake up to my alarm clock playing the theme song from my favorite Tv show. Its 7:30, I realize that I'm extremely late. I roll out of bed and hurry up and get dressed. I throw on my favorite leather jacket and a T-shirt with a guy who has red hair and a chainsaw underneath that says "Jack the Ripper". With jeans and my combat boots that match my awesome leather jacket. I brush my black hair with dark blue and purple highlights out of my lavender eyes then head out the door to my orange flame 1967 Nova .
It's Thursday June 12 and today is the last day of school. Tomorrow is my birthday Friday the 13th. I walk into school and the Dragon club races up and start freaking. I say "whoa guys slow done what's the problem" They all stop and Angela speaks up "Okay guess what we found the perfect place for your 17th birthday"
"Okay where?" I reply.
"The Castle of Menagerie" They all scream at the same time.
"I think you guys just broke the sound barrier" I say kind of laughing at the same time.
"Sorry Star" They reply
"We're just super excited about your birthday." Balin and Kalin reply. I shake my head and laugh.
"I see that." I reply still laughing.
Angela shakes here head and says "We wanted to go somewhere special for your birthday"
"And what's more special then" Balin said.
"The place where we all met." Kalin finished his sentence. They look at each other and smile then look at me and smile even bigger. I shake my head and look at Angela.
"I'll have to ask my uncle but yeah sounds like fun. Who are you guys going to invite"
"Well, I was thinking of inviting only two other people besides us since it cost a lot to get I there" Angela says while the twins Balin and Kalin chant in the back round
"We're going to the castle of menagerie"
"Okay so who were you thinking of inviting" I say
"Phil and his brother."
"We're not inviting Bill." I say annoyed. "Why does everyone want to hang out with him ugh" I sigh.
"Oh come on star it'll be fine. Just for a little bit, he promised to behave" Angela says in a pleading voice.
"Please Starlight. We'll promise to watch him" the twins say giving me the puppy eyes
"Ugh fine, but if he steps out of line he's done for. Got it!" I say annoyed. They all scream "yay."
"Okay I have to get to class and so do you guys see you later. The parties at twelve tonight. Right?"
"Yep see you there." They say and walk to their classes.
*Time skip to tonight at 11:30pm.*
I head out the door with a different shirt that says "Out shine the stars". I get in my Nova and drive to the Castle of Menagerie. When I get there everyone is standing outside. I get out of my car and head over to the group everyone is holding a present and smiling. Bill steps out of the crowd and hands me his present. I smile politely and say "Thank you."
"You're welcome" He says while looking at the ground blushing.
"Okay lets get going" Angela says
"Into the castle" the twins and Phil scream.
