Cider sat down in her new room, seeming the difference to her old, poster covered room back in the city.
Although the room was much larger then that of her previous residence she could not help but feel, trapped and claustrophobic in this new environment, she already knew she was an outcast-to-be because of her life before her grandfather sent her to the chapel."Drug and Alcohol Rehab, Selling my body on the strip pole, street fights. I've been through it all and now this is what scares me..." Cider said as she felt a test run down her eye, she wiped it away as quick as she could, but the mark still remained;
Her emotions where everywhere at this point, once again being the child that her grandfather had to dispose of in a suitable way. She could feel the sickening purity of all of them, the sisters. It ganged up on her, building up, layer after layer, soon she knew she would have to give in to this.Cider did indeed feel like her fate was sealed, morning practise was all she was informed about, 'is this what my life is now?' She wondered, 'morning practise everyday, until I grow old and die?' Similar thoughts followed.
Many hours past and with this time Cider, decided on many things.
She realised that she may as well try to make some form of friend here, as hard or awkward as that may be.
Cider walked down the stairs, taking care not to make direct eye contact with anyone, she does however keep a spacing from her and others. Until...
"Ooof, oh oh dear I'm terribly sorry, it's not often that people other then me walk on the left side of the stairs" said a girl stumbling back to her feet off the floor, swiping her lime green hair behind her elven ears.
"Why don't people walk on the left side?" Cider said helping the girl to her feet. "Well if you remember, Nunaryical tome 17 section 13 page 3 paragraph 3/4" the girl said looking up with her finger on her bottom lip, in a thinking position." Yes I do believe that is the exact part, well anyway, the right side is the side of the stairs that you must walk on to show discipline!" The girl said in such a manor that she seemed pleased with herself.
"Then why where you walking on the left side then huh missy?" Cider said in a slightly sarcastic, dominant tone.
"Well um that's because... Well... Umm... None of the other sisters take me seriously, and that I'm a joke... So they think I shouldn't show discipline..." The girl said looking at the floor.
"You and me both sister, names Cider, the newest Nun in the chapel." Cider said laughing, patting the girl who was the height of Ciders shoulders.
"Really?! You seem super cool! How could they think that you can't hold yourself in a fight?!" The girl starter ranting, a few more quotes of praise left her mouth before Cider closed her mouth with her hand.
"Fight? I thought this was a Chapel for nuns... What do you mean fight? Oh please tell me you don't compete to get the Lord's praise...." Cider questioned and sighed, starting to look at all the passing sisters as if they where insane.
"What? No no! I mean fight using bless'ed weaponry! Have you not been given a weapon and put in a test fight?" The girl added questioning Cider.
"What? No? Where do I sign up for this stuff!" Cider said in delight.
