How could I forget you?

It's been two weeks since Mother has been gone but I've manged to keep the house clean and get to school on time. I'd run into Yuki, sometimes but it didn't always end in a fight and when it did Itachi would come and stop it, since he was nice enough to walk me to school, while calming me down. I kind of grew to like Itachi... A lot. He was nice and calm and that made me calm and smile and I liked that. I also gained another friend. Ace Inozuka and his puppy, Rikki. They were both walking me to the compound with their pinky fingers cruled around mine. "Tomorrow, we shall all train, again but you guys should be blind folded." I hummedd with a devilish smirk.

"I-I dont l-like that idea, right Rikki?" His little Border Collie barked in a happy squeak, sitting at his shoulder, after hearing the studdered words from his companion.

Itachi eyed me, furrowing a brow. "I second that."

I giggled at them, closing my eyes for a moment. "How do you expect to beat me, then?" I sung, closing my eyes as a smile tugged at my lips.

I started giggling at their faces; wide, shocked eyes and dropped jaws. "All I need is m-my nose." Ace muttered, shyly, morphing his dropped jaw to a croocked smile, showing off a fang.

"Exactly."

"And I can still take you down with Genjutsu, whether I can see or not." Itachi smiled sweetly, same old smile he shoots me everyday.

I giggled, again. "Good, then you can be blid folded, it's only fair." I hummed, pursing my lips, slightly.

Both rolled their eyes with a smirk. "Fine." Both gave me perfect unison and cheerful vibes.

"Yay!" I cheered, tilting my head as I smiled. They both said goodbye and ran off as we came to the compound. Thank god I didn't see my wretched cousin, again. I just skipped to my house, ignoring my fellow clan mates and jumped the stairs, twisting the door nob and pushing the door to see my Farther taking my Mother to her room as she slept in his arms. "Farther!" I whispered in an excited yell.

He glanced over his shoulder to see me run up to him, making silent footsteps. "Hello, dear." He smiled as he whispered, continuing down the hall and entering my Mothers room, placing her on  the bed and tucking her in. He exited the room and closed the door, gently behind him, turning to face me, as he did. "How are you, child?" He had a calm, slow heartbeat that hummed in a mellow whisper.

"I'm good but they took Takara." I mumbled, narrowing my eyes in  anger.

He dropped to my level and patted my head. "It's okay, child, they cannot hurt her and we will get her back in due time and we'll be a family, again." I smiled, half heartedly and giggled, a bit. "Your Mother told me you've been doing well at the Academy." He started, standing up, again and walking to the kitchen and living room.

I nodded, excitedly with a grin outlining my lips. "Yes, I have two friends nemed Ace Inozuka and Itachi Uchiha and they are lovely and Itachi and I are top of the class."

Farther smiled down at me. "Oh, show or tell me what you've learned, I want to see how strong my daughter is."

I nodded, again and brought my hands to my chest. "Shadow clone jutsu." I felt my butterflies mould and moph into another form of me. "This one was difficult for me but Itachi helped me out with it." My butterfly, shadow clone disperced and my enchanting insects melted to my skin, again.

"That's very impressive, I'm very proud of you." He smiled, turning from me and to the fridge, opening up the door and letting the cool air fly out. "What else have you learned?"

I pondered for a moment, thinking about my awnser. "I've learned about the history of the village and Kekkei Genkai and Chakra natures and Chakra forms and a lot more." I rambled, thinking I'd given him a head ache.

He chuckled at my enthusiasum and started making us dinner, closing the door and placing the ingredeance on the bench. "No wonder you're top of your class, you're above Genine level, already." He smiled, turning the stove on and placing the pot on top, adding the cut up  ingredience.

"Well, I have to, to get my Sister back, I have to get as strong as I can." I mumbled, still smiling but slightly less enthusiastic.

He turned to me, crouched to my level and kissed my forehead. "Don't over think everything, Izari or your head will go 'pop'."

I giggled, closing my eyes for a moment. "That''s silly, Farther." I opened my eyes, again. Not that it made any differance...

I felt Farther chuckle as he turned from me, rising to his original height, at the same time. He poured one more ingrediant into the dinner, before placing bowls on the bench, beside the stove and pouring, what smelt like Miso soup into the two bowls. "Come on, dear. Eat up or you will get sillier than me." He teased, walking with the two bowls in his hands, toward the table and placing them down, gently as he sat on the coushin, oppisite me.

I nodded and collapsed to the pillow, in front of my Farther. We made small talk about everything; How I was going at the Academy, Mother and her head pain, Takara, Farther's studies, Itachi, Ace and Rikki and a lot of other stuff. I noticed one thing, though; Everytime I took a spoon full of my soup I felt my eye lids grow heavier and hevier but I remained, somewhat energetic. Until, I passed out.

I woke up, warm and being shaken, lightly. "Izari, honey, time for school." Mother spoke, sweetly as she whispered, waking me from a dreamless sleep.

I fluttered my eyes open and sat up, slowly. "Eh, yeah, Itachi will be here to walk me there, soon." I muttered in a tired, slurred grunt.

"Who's Itachi?"

My eyes grew and I raised a brow. "I told you, Mother, he's my friend."

"Oh, okay, dear." She hummed, spinning on her heals and stepping silent steps out the door. "Breakfast is almost ready, okay?"

I nodded and stood from my bed, stumbling to the closet. "I'll be down in a second." I wondered, if one of the amazing abilities of my clan was memory, then why was my Mother forgetting? She is the head, the 'Queen' of the clan and she's being cast away and forgetting. The entire clan turning upside down was one thing but for Mother to loose anything was another.

It was the adverage day at school; Itachi being sweet, Ace and Rikki being cute, Emi being depressing and Shikimi being lazy. Everything but Mother was normal but I remained distracted from her, Yuki and Takara. Training with Itachi, Ace and Rikki was pretty much all I'd wanted to do, that day. I was tying Itachi's blind fold when I'd herd my Mother calling my name in a scared tone. "Izari! What are you doing, you should be home by now?!"

I dropped the ribbong from around Itachi and felt the boys turn to face my Mother and I. "Mother, I'm training, like I do everyday." I told her, knowing something was horribly wrong. I could feel her bodily funtions acting strangly and my heart race. "Mother, are you okay?" I asked, narrowing my eyes in fear of my hunch being correct.

"W-who are you?" She questioned, collapsing and being shocked into convoulcing, violently. My eyes widened as I felt the movments and I felt the stinging of tears.

I collapsed, just to be caught, wrapped in a cold embrace that suddenly burnt from quick tempreture change at my skin but it was the only nice thing I felt so I clung to it, despratly for dear life. "Ace, you should get the Chunin or something, I'll take care of things here." That was Itachi's voice and I felt it come from the body I was clinging to. I heartbeat I felt ringing in my ear as I lost another thing in my life. I just hoped that Itachi or Ace didn't leave me, either.
