"Hey," Lauren yelled from down the hallway. As soon as I turned around I noticed she was running full speed towards me and before I got the chance to even think of what to do next, she had pushed my back into the long metal lockers behind me, making me go ice cold, I was able to feel the coldness of the steel of the lockers. Lauren, who's arms were wrapped around my neck, spoke into my ear " I thought you had double science?"
"No," I replied giggling. She's always thinking its Friday. ",it's Wednesday today and if you don't get off me I will be late for French," just as I finished talking, Lewis, a tall blonde with blue eyes, just as they always looked, came up behind Lauren pulling her away as they held a stare for more than 30 seconds which to me feels like an hour. " okay, so I guess this is my cue to leave, see ya at lunch." I say as I walk around them. I've recently broken up with a guy named Liam. The feeling of jealousy and longing washed over me each time I saw a couple cuddling.
I'm about to enter a dull looking French room with white walls, a smart board, two white boards and blue chairs and tables when Lilly, my best friend, pounced on my back, squealing, scaring me into shock mode for a few seconds before I registered what was happening, straight after I yelled in fright. I'm guessing as she is close to rolling and dying of laughter, I looked rather stupid. "You gotta stop scaring me like that or you're gonna be the reason for the death of me and everyone's hearing." I stated. "Yes, but you know you love me. Right?!" She said loudly to the class, who were either staring at me or her. Mr Lewis gave us a sharp glare for 'inappropriate behaviour'.
Getting off my back, Lilly pulled me over to the back of the classroom, where Julian, Lilly's boyfriend, sat, smirking at the super-hyper Lilly. "Julian! Budge over, so Maggie can sit next to me." Lilly chirped to him. Julian was a tall boy with sapphire blue eyes and blonde hair that fell into his eyes, the complete opposite of Lilly. She had dark hair which fell around her shoulder blades and forest green eyes, and was rather short...
"Sooo. What are you doing this weekend, Magdalena?" Lilly asked me, breaking me away from my train of thought as she used my full first name. This isn't good. "Just chilling watching Big Bang theory with Loz. Why?" I asked her, turning my whole body to face her. She grinned at me and swung her arm over my shoulder. "No reason. Only that my cousin, Adrian, is coming over on Saturday and I want you and Loz to meet him..." she says is an over dramatic voice. "I've already texted Lauren and waiting for a reply. No idea why she's taking so long." I jumped into the conclusion immediately. "Well, She and Lewis are staring at one another in the hallway and I don't think she knows which class she's supposed to be in."
"She thinks it's Friday, doesn't she?" Lilly said, already knowing the answer. I nodded my head. Sighing, Lilly slid her chair back and stood up. "We still have fifteen minutes until class starts. I was gonna skim my notes, but Lauren needs help. Lewis doesn't know her timetable and she burned her copy yesterday." she said. Julian opened his mouth, problemly to ask how she burned it, before Lilly put her hand in front of his face. "Don't ask." and with that Lilly exited the classroom, Julian right behind her, leaving me to my book.
After a few while, I put down my book, feeling someone starring at my back. Looking around, I noticed i was the only one in the room.
