Jack's POV
The whole day Mark has done nothing but drool over Lucas since he asked him to the dance on Saturday. It's fine. Just as long as he doesn't talk to him when I'm over. That's all I ask. When I get on the bus I go to the back and sit down next to Mark. He has a straight face and smiles sweetly when he notices me.
"There is one thing that you must know with this thing. You can't message him during the time I am there. Deal?"

"Deal."
Twenty minutes later and we're at our stop. We walk through the isle and go down the steps. Once we're on the sidewalk the door closes and we start walking to our houses.
We go I side Mark's place and head up the stairs to his bedroom. I toss my bag on his computer chair and sit on his desk. He sets his bag on the bed and just looks at me.
"So what are we doing then?"

"Just come here," I motion him over with a smirk.
Mark shuffles towards me and I take one of his hands and place it on my hip. His face gets a bit blushy once I grab his hand and place it in mine. I can feel my face heat up a bit so I take a small breath.
"Okay so watch my feet," Mark looks down at my socked feet, "So just have your feet follow what mine do."

"Alright."

"Ready?"

"Yup."

"Okay, so let's go slow first. So one," I say placing my foot in the correct place.
As I say the nunbers while taking the steps he looks down following me. He steps on my feet and uttering an tiny apology. I smile and continue with leading him. After he seems to be getting the hang of it I take my index finger and place it under his chin. I raise his head to look at me and I can feel my face heat up. Mark's face gets a bit pink and I clear my throat.
"Let's put on music and go a bit faster. No looking down and if you step on my feet it's alright."

"Okay," he nods as I grab my phone putting it in the speaker. Once I find a song I want I tap on it and it plays.
Mark puts his hand in the same place as before and I take his free one. We waltz around with only a few steps on my foot happening. Which is amazing progress.
"You did really good, but usually these things are like this," I say taking both of his hands and setting them on my hips. My arms snake around his neck and rest there as we rock back and fourth to the music.

"So basically that whole waltz thing was just a waste of time," Mark laughs.

"Not at all. Everyone should know how to waltz."
The door then starts to open, but we don't take any concern to it. That is until they clear their throat. We both then stop and look at the door. Mark's brother is in the doorway and we jump away from each other.
"Hey," Mark says awkwardly.

"Hey....dinner is ready."

"Okay, we'll be down in a second."
He then leaves closing the door behind him. Mark looks at me with a flushed face.
"We should go eat," I suggest.

"Yeah we really should."

Ma and Dad sit on the sofa watching some hospital show while my sister sits on her laptop. I just sit at the kitchen table by myself eating popcorn. God, why did Lucas have to come here? Why couldn't he have went to a different school or have at least been straight. Then I wouldn't have to be the ninth wheel. Which is even worse than the third wheel. I might as well not even go.
I shuffle up the steps and into my bedroom. When I get into my room I get into comfortable clothing and under my sheets.
I need to stop thinking that this whole Lucas thing is just awful. Mark is happy. That's what matters. At least it should be what matters. Even though I don't feel right about Lucas sometimes I know that Mark will be very happy. He deserves to happy. Way more than I do.

Okay it was cute and then sad. What is wrong with me at night. Usually I'm like all fluff at night and none of thus sad crap. Wtf me?! Casually talks to myself don't mind me and my crazy ass.
