5: Whispers at the Eiffel Tower
{Ladybug}
I looked around behind me.
Where has Chat gone?
I was silent. I held my breathe and listened.
Thunk!
Something hit one of the metal support beams. I snuck around to see another Ladybug dressed all in white fighting Chat. I swung my yo-yo at her and she disappeared.
"Chat? Chat!" I yelled I saw Chat. He was bleeding he had cuts all over his face and bruises coloured his face. "Chat! No, don't die on me!"
I had tears streaming down my face and placed my head on his chest, but I ended up hitting metal. "Chat...?" I whispered.
"Chat? Where are you? Kitty?" I spun around to see an exact copy of myself facing me, mimicking my facial expressions, voice and body position. She stood up and leaped at me to attack. I spun my yo-yo so fast it created a shield and reflected the mirror image.
Thunk!
I turned to see Chat's limp body drop down onto the metal platform.
It was a distraction.
I spun around but it was too late the copy of Ladybug hit me across the face with her yo-yo.
"Ladybug!"
I fell to my knees. I placed a hand on my cheek and stood up. Tears brimmed my eyes because of the pain. I walked backward into Chat. "Cha-" I started but he spun and grabbed me by the throat and pushed me against a support beam.
"Pathetic," He said.
"Chat!" I croaked.
My vision was going black at the edges. A tear dropped down my face. The lack of oxygen made it impossible for me to kick out. "Chat..." I breathed.
5: All that I have left
[Chat Noir]
"Chat..." She breathed. I could just hear her, but I couldn't do anything, my body was sore from the pounding I got.
I have to save her.
"Stop!" I yelled. I jumped down and fell to my knees. "Kill me not her,"
The copy of me dropped Ladybug like she was a piece of paper and walked over to me. He held my upper arm and turned to the fake Ladybug. "What do I do?" He asked.
"Keep him conscious," She ordered. "I think it would break him, if he saw his partner die,"
No....she can't die....she's Ladybug...she's stronger than that.
"Sure go ahead, like I care," I said with a neutral expression.
The copy slammed Ladybug into the support beam and Ladybug gasped for air. She did it again and again. Ladybug's breathing was laboured but she smiled and swung her yo-yo at me and I grabbed it with my free arm and held it tight.
Ladybug tugged on the string making the string in between us to retract pulling me to her, dragging the copy along and she pulled me to the beam, which I bounced off and jumped to my feet and raced around, using the string to slam the Ladybug copy into the beam.
"Chat! Their gone!" I heard Ladybug yell.
"Where did they run off to?" I finished running around the beam and stood next to Ladybug.
"They just disappeared."
"Ladybug are you all right?" I asked.
"Yeah. Why?" She asked.
I leaned in to kiss her and she stepped away. I kicked her feet out from underneath her and pinned her against the ground. "What did you do to Ladybug?" I hissed at her.
"Nothing, yet," She snarled.
I was about to ask more when I heard someone softly crying behind the beams. There was a sound of shattering glass and I looked and the copy wasn't there anymore.
I followed the sound of crying and found who it belonged to.
"Mari..." I ran to her and picked her up. She was covered in cuts and bruises, with a black eye as well. She was covered in injury. Her face, her arms, her torso, her legs. I sat down and crossed my legs placing Marinette's head in my lap.
"Mari..."
"Chat?" She looked up at me, her bright blue eyes, dull and lifeless.
"Mari, what did the do to you?"
"Don't worry about me Chat."
"No, I have to worry about you. It's my fault that this happened to you, I was careless and you found out my identity and I got you in trouble, I got you hurt, what kind of friend am I?"
Marinette reached for Chat's face and held it with one hand. "A good one," She said before she passed out.
