"Let's start from the beginning," Calibur said as we walked towards the front of the house. "Ok. To your right is the kitchen and to your left is the chill room."
I gave him a weird look. "Chill room?"
"What? I didn't know what else to call it ok. Plus," he leaned forward to take a peek at the room. "What? What is in there?"
"You don't even know if the room is a chill room or not? I think I'll just wait for Ty to give me the tour."
"Ha, the name caught on." He smiled.
"Whatever." I started to walk away but before I could take a step away from him, he caught my arm.
"Wait, I'm kidding. Give me another chance. I swear that was the only room I forgot what was in it," he pleaded with his eyes.
"Fine," I gave in.
"Ok, ok. Let's go through the kitchen first."
So, we walked through the kitchen which was huge with silver appliances and Oreo looking countertops with very dark brown, almost black, cabinets. We passed the dining room which had swings as chairs which looked pretty awesome.
After, we went through the back door that led to the backyard. There was a lot of free space and green grass covered every inch of the yard other than the section to the side where a pool was located. The pool was huge and amazing it was hard to explain it all. There was a section that had pillows on the ground and a screen with a projector, with lights hanging above. Calibur said it was where people went to watch movies when it turned dark out.
We headed back inside, going room to room. There were a couple of spiraling stairs. A lot of chill room, like how Calibur likes to call them. One room had a door that turned into a Ping-Pong table. A bookshelf that has a couch inside it. Then there was another bookshelf but had stairs that led down to a door. There were so much in this mansion that would take forever for me to explain.
"And last but not least, the bedrooms. There awesome," Calibur looked excited for the last part of the tour. I just gave him a weird look.
"Aren't they just look-alikes? Every room has the same things don't they," I questioned.
"That's the thing. These rooms are unique," he smiled wide.
"Ok. Show me the way then."
He wasn't kidding. Each room had its own structure and design.
The rooms for the groups, of course, had more than one bed in the room so the whole group could stick together. There was one room that one bed was a hammock while the bed above was normal. Then there was a room that had three beds on each side of the room that looked like boats. There was another one where there was a ladder for the person to go to the second bed of the bunk bed but to get down, there was a slide. Then there was a room filled with beds that looked like chairs hanging from the ceiling but apparently, Calibur said they were comfy enough to sleep on like a bed. There was also a princess bunk bed. It was too much if you ask me. I wouldn't be able to stand sleeping in that room. And last but not least, the attic room. Since there was a lot of space up there, it was reserved for a group.
Then there were the solo rooms for the solo contestants. There were was a bed that had cabinets surrounded it. A circular rocking bed like a wheel that looked kind of uncomfortable. A stereo bed that sounded awesome with just its name. A bat cave room that consisted of Batman stuff which I just had to fangirl over. A net bed that looked dangerous which Calibur later assured me was safe. A huge vintage looking boat that hung from the ceiling. And, like the groups' room, a solo chair looking bed that hung from the ceiling but a bit bigger than the ones in the group's room. There was a bed hidden in a cabinet. Then a room with a bed place above a lounge room just underneath that had doors to close the lounge. It basically looked like a bed placed above a huge square box which contained a lounge inside the box. There were trampoline beds. Then there were a couple normal rooms but with a killer view of New York a couple miles away.
"Lastly, my room which I reserved. Actually, Ty just saved it for me so I couldn't deny his offer," Calibur said before opening a door that led to a stargazing room. The room's ceiling was replaced with skylight windows. The bed was placed in the middle of the room with a perfect view of the whole sky.
"This is amazing," I said as I starred above breathlessly.
"I know," Calibur said with a tiny smile gracing his lips.
"Tyler saved me this room because it's on the east wing of the mansion. No one really comes to this side of the house. They usually stick to the west wing which consists of the more unique bedrooms. Plus, there are only a hand full of rooms on this side," Calibur continued.
"Can I look at the rooms?" I looked his way waiting for a response.
"Sure. Plus, it's usually just Tyler and I who stay on this side of the floor.
We walked out of his room and headed to a door that was beside his room. He opened the door and it was like I walked into a tiny apartment. It had its own living space with a TV, a study table and couches. I walked over to the other room that had no door to it just to see a tiny space area with a bed squeezed in. Literally, the bed had a wall on each side of it so you had to crawl from the end of the bed to get on. Then there was a window just above the head of the bed.
There was a silence hanging between Calibur and I for a while.
Calibur scratched the back of his neck looking nervous. "Now you see why most people don't take rooms on the east wing."
I turned to look at him. I walked out of the bedroom and into the tiny living room. He followed shortly after me. He looked a bit upset and disappointed.
"Oh. My. Gosh." I looked over at him as my mouth hung open. Slowly my mouth turning into a huge smile. "That is the most adorable room I have ever seen. Can I move into this room?"
Now it was Calibur's turn with his mouth hanging open. "You liked it?"
"Heck yea," I excitedly said.
"It's yours then," he smiled.
"I can't wait to move in." I excitedly clapped my hands. "Where are my bags?"
"Tyler must have sent someone to put them in my room since we didn't know what room you would have liked."
I didn't let him finish before I rushed out my room to go next door to his room, get my stuff, and before he knew it I was in front of him with my bags wrapped around me.
"If you wouldn't mind I would like to settle in," I told Calibur as I pushed him out the door and closing the door behind him.
This place was amazing. Maybe I won't mind it as much as I thought.
I looked around the room just to have my smile slip off my face. I couldn't get use to this place. I was going to be out of the competition before I know it. But for now, I should just enjoy it.
